I have had a Plantronics headset for 5 or more years and the earpieces are starting to feel flimsy so I went over and got this. Holy crap, what a big difference in sound quality!
What sort of headsets do you guys use, for the ones who use them primarily instead of 2.1/5.1/7.1 speaker setups?- Show previous comments 9 more

I bought a £1 headset (Which died today :( very sad) and it served me well until the point I accidentally ripped out the wire from the jack and it was as good as any £20+ headset other than it was just a cheap piece of plastic instead of a thick leathery thing.
It also resulted in this thread because my camera is not a good microphone. -
I got the ATH-M50 recently. With Razer Surround any gaming sounds quite decent, and it's quite good for the composing I've been doing recently.
