    We saw him on Sunday wheelchairbound on Sunday but the following day his condition worsened by Monday. He was seen by most of my immediate family on Tuesday (his 80th birthday) which he was on life support. I got the news this morning that he passed away, which is saddening and which will likely upset my mother, grandmother, uncle and others.

      My Condolences Chris. I just lost my grandparents a few months ago and life is just not the same without them.

      Sorry for your loss of a family member.

      I've lost both my grandfathers in the past and now only my grandmothers remain.

      Very sorry for your loss. My grandmother was diagnosed with lung cancer and given 6 months to live, and she only lasted 4 days. Quick ones are the most painful.

      All my grandparents are gone now but it is good to know they are not in pain anymore.
