  1. It's true. I'm a girl and I can't cook.

I live in college by myself (for those of you who don't know), so I buy random assorted inexpensive things that I can make. Most of my pantry consists of ramen and canned foods, but I wanted some variety so I got a box of Stove Top stuffing.

Now, the directions are simple. Boil water and butter, add the stuffing, remove it from heat, wait 5 minutes, fluff with fork. I managed to mess THAT up.

First of all, I added too much butter (because I was only going to cook half, and I originally added the normal amount of butter, which would've been twice as much as needed).

Second, when I added the stuffing, it overflowed and I got molten waterbutter all over the stove. Then I moved the pan and covered it with a plate to let it heat up.

When it was done, it was really watered down. I don't have a measuring cup so I didn't know how much water is how much, and I apparently added too much, so my stuffing is soggy.

It's good though, when you're hungry.

I'm a beast with the microwave.

I strongly recommend Lipton Asian sides and Noodle sides brand foods. They're about one dollar and provide two tasty servings. :D

I get Ramen. They're 10 for a dollar and are about 1-2 a serving. Either way, much cheaper. =P

I enjoy making stuff in the kitchen, and if I have directions I can often make it well, though it seems like whenever I do make something elaborate, it ends up about twice as spicy as normal (I managed to make spicy macaroni and cheese once, go figure).

But I think my greatest achievement is making up snacks and desserts. I'll share with you my personal favorite:

      Dan's Super-Yummy Breakfast Sandwich

      2 Slices of Raisin Bread
      Cream Cheese
      1 Banana

      1. Toast the Raisin Bread for added taste.
      2. Spread the cream cheese on both slices.
      3. Slice the banana up and fit as many pieces of it on the sandwich as you can bear (then eat the rest or soemthing).
      4. Enjoy (or I break your legs).

      For extra flavoring try these:
Use bread with nuts in it
Sprinke some cinnamon (or cinnamon sugar*) on it
Use honey with or instead of the cream cheese (lavender honey is a personal favorite)

*Cinnamon Sugar ~ 1/2 cinnamon, 1/2 sugar...pretty easy to make, good for topping applesauce
