  1. Hello!

For those of you who may be fans of not only Doom, but of classic games like Commander Keen, Quake, Wolfenstein 3D etc... You may find it very awesome that a machinima series for Duke Nukem is in the works. The first episode released Christmas Day and is called "Ass Kicking Etiquette"

    You can view it here:

We also have a facebook page you can subscribe to here:

We hope you enjoy what our series offers. Be sure to stay tuned as the next episode will be out January 25th, 2012. We're going to feature many classic DOS characters in future episodes after that, including DoomGuy and maybe even Commander Keen!

Positive and negative responses alike, I thank you all for your feedback.

Lizardcommando, what do you think of the Animated Test http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qlm2Da1bSR8 and the much older AvPvD http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VqzDdaL_E-w ? Are they closer to a style you'd like?

The first episode is indeed a bit of a black sheep in our release roster, we found it very entertaining, but probably rather unconventional. I'm guessing you found it boring for being a bit long toothed in the editing department in parts?

Maes : We do have some crossovers in mind, so you never know! :)

      You can watch it here:

The next episode will be released, February 25th, 2012!

Thank you all for your feedback and comments. We hope you continue to enjoy and support Duke Nukem The Series.

I will admit - your polite responses and enthusiastic remarks in this thread gave me enough incentive to watch this latest episode.

It's just not that great, to be blunt.

On an honest level the voiceover surprised me enough - I think you have a credible Duke voice over for the series. There's just not that much to laugh at really. There's only so much funny you cna have with Duke getting angry at a soda machine. Not to mention the fact that anything he says in-game can't be used with these episodes (I assume copyright is an issue) kinda takes away from the Duke feel. I think the voice actor for Duke does a good enough job.....just....the material is not that funny.
