    How do I double jump?

I know, but there's not much point in exploring for those items once you restart the game again if you already get them at the start because you got it from playing through previously.

    How do I double jump?

That's a bit stupid, it (IMO) makes replay ability redundant. What's the point in playing the game again when you already have all of the abilities you can get? The whole point of this new DOOM was to explore ways in levels to get new abilities, then it throws it all out of the window in terms of replay ability by saying "we're just going to give you it all?" No thanks...

    That other Doom 4

Does anyone still have that video of the gameplay footage with the angsty teenager badly playing the guitar in the background? EDIT: Nevermind, I found it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_HI-Ev2ZbX4. Blegh.

    How do I double jump?

But I saw a video of TotalBiscuit where he's double jumping in a level I already completed. Maybe the ultra-violence difficulty I chose changes this a bit? I'm not totally sure.

    How do I double jump?

I'm a few hours into the game now and I still can't figure out how to do it, any help please?

DOOM music tracks already ripped (and torn)

    Is there another source?
  9. I hope it's an optional thing, but modern games don't really let you "mutate" gameplay that way.

    Bethesda E3 Conference - DOOM4 Unveiling

I meant visually, some mechanics could always do well without like the slowing down when switching weapons.

It doesn't play like CoD at all, I can see people saying it's not like the classic DOOM games though.

    Bethesda E3 Conference - DOOM4 Unveiling

You people do realise it's a demo presentation? There could be a lot of scripted scenes and heath because of that.

We gotta figure out what those Russians are doing.

I'm not going to read your post if you're just going to go all caps and intentionally misinterpret what I say just to argue with me. I'll read your posts when you read mine properly, thanks. I'm not and I provided enough evidence to show, if you want you can look for the type of games I am talking about and you'll find them EASILY as 90% of the games today look like that. I don't even need to show the examples I showed, because there's so many obvious examples which you've probably played yourself if you play newer games. I'm certainly not disagreeing with you with those games, but a lot of games were colourful in the '90s and early 2000s. Personally I think those particular games you listed are what started the whole brown/grey/orange/blue filter look. I shouldn't even be saying the textures themselves lack colour, because it's more to do with what several others have pointed out here-- that it's colour grading making it look so lacking and soulless.
