  1. Today I was on a medium-length coach journey, and for a good portion of the journey back, there was a girl (an Aussie, I think) talking loudly to some people who were just the other side of me. It seemed that whenever a random and irrelevant though entered her head, she simply couldn't avoid blurting it out. Nothing was too trivial or inconsequential.

    The temptation to shout "Blog!" was really strong, I can tell you. And I really wished there had been a "Make this a blog" button.

      FYI, the Maori word for "the" is "te". So maybe they started it all.

      I recently noticed that my sister's car's number plate contains the letters "R-O-F-L" (well, the O is actually a zero). I tried to pursuade her to start calling her car "the Roflmobile", but she didn't seem too impressed.
