I liked Magnetic Fields too, but not as much as Oxygene. Mainly Oxygene 2 and 4 remained stuck in my head for their epic coolness. Fun fact: From what I've heard, Jarre was pretty poor when he did Oxygene, only having an ARP 2600 and some few other synths. Obviously, this only adds up to the coolness of the album.

Who gives a shit? I never owned the full version, anyway, and still played the shareware over and over and over (well, kinda like I did with Doom when I first got my hands on the demo... ah, memories!).

Yeah, same for me! When I was like 4 yr I had some electronic music cassetes (Jean Michelle Jarre, Vangelis, etc.), but I was obsessed with Krafrwerk's Computerwelt. I kept listeting to it in a row until the day ended for most part. I remember always asking myself like, how the fuck do they do that sound and this one right here, and what the fuck is that weird robot voice and how do they do it. Well, I guess I'm grateful. I mean, if it weren't for these guys, I would've probably never had any kind of interest in synthesizers and all that...

I have my doubts about how "real" this thing is. I mean, if I dropped my IPhone or IPod and crashed it's screen, I don't think I'd go on with the video, calmly replying: "Guys, I think it "corrupted"...". But who knows, he may have made an edit afterwards... Though, I doubt these things are this fragile anymore, especially since IPhone 4.

What are some some good dark ambient albums that I can find? Specifically, I'm looking for something that I can play in the background while I'm playing Manhunt. I've played it many times now, and I'm looking for ways to alter the experience. I thought playing different music would do. I'm currently playing it with the Doom PSX soundtrack in the background, but it doesn't really "fit in" well.
