Just played thru half of Unloved! Wow, how did I miss this one? Amazing.

Just found this on /idgames This is exactly the type of fun I enjoy on my lunch breaks... thank you! EDIT: Some of the maps had tricky exits.. MAP20 and MAP30... I couldn't figure those out. MAP20 ended in my death, and MAP30... I got the blue key, teleported out, and just couldn't figure out what to do.

I really enjoy this wad. Anyone have any insight into the author?

I also think OoT is the best Zelda game ever... also, the artwork from that game is incredible. It's exactly how I envision Link/Zelda/Ganon to be... Oh man, those days were classic. I don't really enjoy how Link's artwork has changed over the years. BotW changes Link to look way less cool, imo.

I love reading responses like this. I played a lot of Doom and Rise of the Triad over LAN back in the late 90s. I rediscovered online Doom (ZDaemon and Skulltag) around 2004, and I've been hooked on Doom off and on since then. Unfortunately, multiplayer Doom declines every year... but offline single player continues to be really strong.

Map5... wow! Thank goodness for save states.. that was a very tricky monster battle at the end. Overall, I loved the maps... but Map5 was the toughest. I also enjoyed the invulnerability fight.

Solid maps... I hear Scythe, and I'll play it... Well done!

The hidden contents is getting annoying.. why?!

I do think esselfortium is involved... my thoughts exactly... Why rule her out? Her music is even used.

This map set is fantastic... I personally felt that Map01 was the toughest. I found no secrets in map 1/2/3, but I did find the BFG secret in Map04.

Veddge hasn't visited since March 2nd... wouldn't he want to know the community's reception of this map? Odd :)

The map creator reminds me of bitcoin... some unknown creator... this wad map is so damn good. In terms of raw gameplay, reminds me of Donkey Kong (94) on game boy, where you play the classic game (classic home), but there's a much bigger game in front of you.

This map is insane. Wow! EDIT: After looking at the doomwiki article and reading all of these posts, I'm suspicious that this map just "happened"... it looks like an effort by well known mappers to launch something really nice for Doom's 30th anniversary. I mean, who the heck wrote the Doomwiki article so well for a recent wad?? :)

Holy hell that! Map01 was a lot of fun... I'll play through some of the other maps tonight.
