  1. So, Mumford and Sons has really got me thinking... I've never been to an Arcade Fire concert. Which is really nothing short of a crime. So now I'm thinking about buying tickets to Ottawa Bluesfest up in Canada, not too far from where I live (within a day's drive).

Arcade Fire would be my main attraction. But Swell Season is also playing. Glen Hansard lead The Frames, one of my fave bands. So that'd be like two birds in one stone, and they are playing two days apart during the festival! Seems like a must. Only caveat is... Swell Season isn't as good as The Frames stuff... and Neon Bible is not as fucking good as The Funeral!

How do I start a campaign to get The Arcade Fire to play the entire Funeral album? I really shoulda seen them live in 2005 before Neon Bible came out. It's a decent album, it's just not through the stratosphere the way The Funeral sweeps at the stars.

Also... how difficult is it to jump on the stage and sing along witht he band? I mean, if they play "Headlights" or "Rebellion (lies)" or "Wake Up" how will I resist? My dream of being a rock star shall be fulfilled, even if it's only for a hot minute.

as a side note, I just discovered the band "family of the year" literally right now--was playing on the cd player in the earthfoods cafe where I just ate lunch.

Although this relatively recent Arcade Fire setlist isn't a bad setlist at all. I could be very happy with it:

February 11th, 2008 - Studio Coast, Tokyo, Japan

Black Mirror, Keep The Car Running, Neighbourhood #2 (Laika), No Cars Go, Haiti, Black Wave/Bad Vibrations, Neon Bible, All The Umbrellas In London [Magnetic Fields cover], Ocean Of Noise, Neighbourhood #1 (Tunnels)/Wave Of Mutilation [Pixies cover], The Well And The Lighthouse, Headlights Look Like Diamonds, (Antichrist Television Blues), Neighbourhood #3 (Power Out), Rebellion (Lies)
    Encore: Intervention, Wake Up

hellbent stop taking music seriously i mean i think your taste is a bit boring but at least you enjoy what you listen to so don't listen to anyone who tells you otherwise.
this applies to everyone i'm sick of people arguing about music, if people wanna listen to pussycat dolls on repeat.. then they can do that if they want i guess.
