  1. Well, I guess I'm too late on this post. Earlier today when I started writing it it was a dilemma. I went to tutoring this evening and when I came back it was a moot point. I can't believe my roommate really did it. I really thought he was gonna control himself; not give into his demons. Since it's no longer a dilemma, I guess the question now is, should he have done it? As soon as I realized that he had gone, I immediately felt remorse for him. He will no doubt feel the same.

I suppose on the one hand it was inevitable. But he really led me to think that he was going to do the right thing... or rather, not do the wrong thing. It will still be interesting to hear the details about this tomorrow; but I'm curious how much remorse he will be feeling.

Your friend sounds pretty hopeless. Tell him to learn how to makes his own decisions. Trying to find a solution for the friend of a guy who posts on the same forum as me isn't exactly on my "top priorities" list.

To prevent doing anymore damage I think he should cut off communication with this girl. But what reason should he give?

The truth? I have a g/f, sorry. or... another lie to go on top of the other lies to make as clean break as possible?

Only answer he can give her. Will it effect her? Yes. But it's inevitable. Theres no way around that.
