    First Released Map "Water Plant"

I do know about lower/upper unpegged flags but I just don't use that much. I just align the textures on 3-D mode in Doombuilder 2 manually. I only often use lower/upper unpegged flags on fences or something like glass windows. Also I don't have any good inspirations on the gameplay. But I am not so sure about my ideas are good enough or probably the players would give up as too hard to beat the map.

    First Released Map "Water Plant"

My first released Doom map, But also not my first map created. The map is easy and basic with three Zdoom features. It gives a classic feeling of early doom maps. I recommend use Brutal doom to make more fun to play the map and I am not sure If it does work with different source ports. All I know it does work with GZdoom and Zdoom. It requires to use DOOM2.WAD and doom 1 textures for doom 2 from afterglow. Here is the two important links for the map. How to adjust Resolution on GZdoom?

Thanks for the help. I never knew that gzdoom has a setting on textures. Oh well...
  4. The Graphics and Textures looks blurred on gzdoom and Zdoom looks better and sharper. Is there anyway to fix the blurry graphics on gzdoom due to using Dynamic Lighting effects because Zdoom seems doesn't have the dynamic lighting feature.

Requesting for Light Ray texture pack

I Tried that way, it didn't work. But I found out that my Custom .WAD supposed to have rest of textures in the file or otherwise it will make textures look gone missing. I just made multiple copies of Doom.wad files. And i just replace 64x128 textures with light beams and include the rest of Doom textures in the same file. It turned out working great!

Requesting for Light Ray texture pack

Just one bit of error when i tested my map in doom builder 2 using zdoom (Doom in Hexen format). When i see the sky, it's all black. I was using regular SKY1 on Doom 1. But i wasn't using any custom skies. I made and added my custom made textures into the map.

Requesting for Light Ray texture pack

I use Windows 7. But everytime i try to open .WAD files on XWE the error pops up. This is what the error said. "Failed to create key .WAD. List index out of bounds (0)" I didn't download Visual C++ 2010 Runtime Libraries. I guess i tried most ways to get the program to work. Where you get it this program, is it free? About Slade, everytime i download the program. It didn't respond when i clicked the program. Nothing popped up.

Requesting for Light Ray texture pack

Just trying make sure you try understand easier what i actually mean. I mean was just a simple texture of Black & White Gradients. All kinds of patterns or Variations of gradients by all sides and angles. All in one .WAD file.
  10. Which I had made similar post yesterday. But I Forgot that I also Needed .WAD file of Light Rays on all directions and sizes individually that I have listed below. List: Ray shines downward Vertical Sizes : 64, 128, and 236 Ray shines upward Vertical Sizes : 64, 128, and 236 Ray shines from the left Horizontal Sizes : 64, 128, and 236 Ray shines from the right Horizontal Sizes : 64, 128, and 236 One ray shines downward with another ray shines upward towards each other in height Vertical Sizes : 128 and 236. The reason why I am posting a request, Because Slade and XWE programs doesn’t work with my computer. Which I Already downloaded many times and tried every way get to work. :/
  11. Thank you, That's what I needed! EDIT 1: My mistake for just not one direction gradient. Can you actually make a Gradient texture pack by any direction like sideways or upside down.
  12. Do you know or have WAD file of it? Or i have to use editing texture programs like Slade or XWE? I am not quite sure... EDIT 1: The problem is that those texture editing programs doesn't work for me. I have downloaded them few times to try to get to work.
  13. Introduction: Hello, I know i am a new member here and I have been making maps since april since i discovered Doom Builder to create doom maps. I have been looking around throughout internet to learn how to do it. Which I already did. Last 2 weeks, I finally moved on to advanced building in doom maps on zdoom. Which I am getting there to finish my first true successful map. My previous maps didn't really get enough details. I was learning at that time. But anyways, I can't seem to find a tutorial for creating Light Ray effect from any light sources. For example, Like Gradient light rays shine from the sky through hole on the ceiling. That you can see the rays shining towards to the ground but it is transparent. I would be glad if you can help me how to do this. I am quite close to finishing the map. My first detailed map. It is based on map that is so far out into space. I used three WAD texture files. When i am done, I will release the map on this site. EDIT 1: For anyone who don't know what i am trying make. Here is the Link to the picture. That Light effect I tried to figure how to do it. http://www.wadsinprogress.info/?a=showshot&wad=403&shot=1
