    Hello all. I'm really new into Doom modding and I would like you people to know the project i'm currently working on. It's called Rain Temple and it'll be a medium sized map with custom monsters, weapons and music. Here are some new screenshots. I've deleted the old ones as I redone it from scratch.     You just open your map in Slade and import some of your music with the default names: D_RUNNIN D_DOOM etc. and you're done

    Hello, i'm new in this forum and recently I started making maps in Doombuilder. I'm working on a project called "Rain Temple" its a medium to big map and I want to use the capabilities of Doom in Hexen Format... I need some help with the music changer thing. I don't know how it works and where I have to place the music and maybe use some scripts. Help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks, you helped me a lot. Here is how the script ended: #include "zcommon.acs" script 1 (void) { LocalSetMusic("D_DOOM"); } D_DOOM is a custom music changed in Slade3 also :D

    Thanks!. And how do I change music by sectors in the map? Maybe for some combat areas with action music and relaxing music for puzzle areas

    Doombuilder monsters and sectors

    Hello, i'm new here and I need some help with doombuilder. I'm making a map with medium size outdoor areas and inside areas as well. But here's the problem. Let's say I start playing the map and for some reason I use the pistol and start shooting, all the monsters in the whole map detect i'm there so they start moving and they ruin the spots I designated for them. Is this a problem with sectors? or something else? Please help I'm using Doombuilder with Doom 2 config Here's a pic of the map in Doombuilder Uploaded with ImageShack.us

    I also used two linedefs with Block sound flagged between the monsters and the area I was in and that did the trick too

    Problem solved, thanks a lot. I set the monsters to deaf and that solved my problem.
