  1. I have beaten it 3 times and once without getting any weapon upgrades. Made it upto Titans Realm with no upgrades.

  3. Well it's been an entire year since I last posted here, but I looked at some of the feedback for my map and made some minor changes. I decided to add more health and make it more obvious as to when the exit triggers. Also made the yellow key a bit more easier to see by raising the platform. Also, to avoid any misunderstandings, the map I'm submitting for is MAP21 not MAP23. My previous slot was MAP23 but I noticed I was moved down to MAP21. https://www.mediafire.com/?zap7ldxwl0k8e8r
  4. Thanks for the feedback Eonfge! Here is the improved version of MAP23. http://www.mediafire.com/download/4q0wv03uqn6bv5c/MAP23.wad I made UV a tad bit easier by adding armor at the beginning and I also got rid of one of the Arch-Viles that appear later in the level. Also, I didn't quite get what you meant when you said that sector 336 looks odd, but nevertheless I got rid of it and redid it. To add to that, sectors 500 are supposed to be cut off from the map since it's meant to be scenery, but I noticed it looked rather messy so I redid that entire area too.

  7. Aeternum.wad. Much like Nisuuh, this is also my first time posting a demo here. Anyway, after a solid two hours, I was finally able to get a fairly good UV-MAX run of Map 01 of Aeternum. Edit: Eh, attachment thing isn't working for some reason. Anyway, here's a link to the demo
  8. I'll update the Mediafire link soon. Right now I'm dissatisfied with my maps exit area so I'm thinking of tweaking that and making the outside area a bit larger. STILL need to balance difficulty levels (particularly UV).
  9. ^Haha, I was thinking the same. Anyway, I've been slacking off recently but I have completed the map. I'm pretty much at the same stage as Egregor where I have to call it done and be satisfied with it. Also gotta play through it a bit more to see if I got ammo balance.
  10. Well, when I feel like playing some Doom I always go a little bit further in my playthrough of Epic 2. I also play some select maps from Alien Vendetta now and then.
  11. ^Thanks for the feedback. I'll fix up the lighting and I know what you mean by it being a bit easy for UV and I had the same feeling, but I just needed someone else's opinion. Anyway, that Mancubus is really getting on my nerves. I had to edit that spot in the tower quite a few times to make sure it doesn't get stuck; than again, it might be the ceiling that's too low. Whatever it is, I'll get around to fixing it. EDIT: I'm also considering redoing the yellow key area and making it a bit more larger and complex. I'll admit that I got a bit lazy and uninspired when I made that room.
  12. UPDATE: Valhalla V.1 [MAP23] Yes, my map will be called 'Valhalla'. First version is finally complete. I test played it on all difficulties and it seems to play pretty smoothly. The map shouldn't take longer than six or seven minutes to beat. As for the secrets, they're pretty tricky to get, but overall the map turned out exactly as I had envisioned. However, I still have to a pick out an appropriate music track to go with this level and I need some feedback on difficulty settings/health/ammo. I'm thinking of maybe making it a bit more harder on UV but than again maybe that's just me. Textures from the 5rtxt.wad are not implemented into my WAD because I didn't really need to; I just dragged both 5rtxt.wad and MAP23.wad into prboom and it worked just fine.
  13. I'm almost finished with my map. I just have to add difficulty levels, ammo/health, and secrets. I'm actually quite satisfied with how it all came out.
  14. ^Haha, I never thought of it that way. I mean I knew about the richter scale and all that but I didn't look at the numbers as something that represents the magnitude of the earthquake. Interesting interpretation though.
