Huh, I didn't realize that the geography can matter in something that's mostly happening on the internet. Or is it?

well a large component of what happened on those boards involved live music

for a time there were some big gigs called blipfests which a lot of people aimed to play at

there were people making gig posters or coming up with vj sets complimentary to the sound of the music

a remote hermit-like person like me didnt really fully integrate into the scene, all i did was release noisy adversarial music and make the forums worse :)))))))

Sounds a lot like me!

How is that sort of music performed live? It is mostly just playback?
