I'll attempt to explain it while not being too vague or explicit. Even though it's hard to keep your cool during these past few weeks. Macron, since his election in 2017, made some extremely questionable stuff during his first mandate, making laws that made rich people even richer, poor people even poorer. During the 5 first years of his election, he and his gouvernment (which was the majority during the parliament back then) openly lied to the people, through communiqués or through the mainstream media (which were mostly, if not all owned by friends on Macron, up to openly relaying fake news the medias gave again and again without any verification on their end - Hello BFMTV, LCI). In 2018, Macron attempted to lower the French's quality of life by vastly increasing the price of petrol shortly after failing to pass the first "reform of pensions". As a result, the french people started the movement of Gilets Jaunes as a form of protest, blocking roads, doing strikes in many parts of France which started to scare the political classes. However, Macron ordered the policemen, CRS, to fight back the people. And due to how it was managed, and how the far-right managed to take over this protest, it had to be stopped. Macron thus won since it was moreorless what he desired: silencing people by dividing them. They even opened the floodgates to Marine Le Pen and Eric Zemmour (both being openly far-right, racist and xenophobic - Hello CNEWS), more apparently during the COVID19. During the 2022 elections, Macron didn't care a single moment about his election campaign, and was sadly reelected after openly promoting both far-right people, as if he was the messiah against them. However, they didn't win everything: the parliament didn't get the majority this time (the leftists having more than En Marche/Renaissance alone), but if you combine every party that belong to the rightists (LR, Renaissance, RN), they still have a majority. Of course, they made an alliance. At the end of 2022 Macron and his government attempted to make a second pass of the reform of pensions, even though they didn't have the majority. So, to still have the advantage somehow, they used a lot of articles from the consitution that manage to bypass the parliament's voting system (49.3, 47.1...) despite the deputies warning them this will be a direct declaration of war against their own citizens. They said they were open to discuss during several weeks... They of course didn't listen to the people at all and used a final 49.3 to force their law through the constitution. They don't even care at all about people, they do care about their own greed even if it means killing off their own country. As a form of protest in Paris, garbage collectors started to refuse to take the garbage in Paris, annoying the upper-class people. Then the french people as a whole started striking again, but in a stronger way than it was in 2018. So, what was Macron and their ministers's reaction? Send the CRS, the policemen against the people, exactly like in 2018, while blatantly divide the people through the medias, lies, and promoting far-right people more than ever (CNEWS, BFMTV, LCI, FranceInfo - all 24/7 medias to keep it simple). They even removed the worker's privileges to everyone BUT themselves (oh, the irony). What is actually funny, is that these protests finally reveal the true faces of our government's faces: they say they want to fight against the far right? They are literally saying openly racist, far-right things against their own population. They are extremely scared and fear a real revolution. So they are attempting a last kind of attack before losing big: making sure Le Pen is the next president in 2027 by normalizing violence, racism, xenophobic stuff... Something we do not want at all. People have enough of the capitalist bullship that's ruining most people's life, considering that very recently the richest people in France went way richer than ever thanks to Macron, and the poorest people even poorer than ever... Because of Macron. That people lost 2.7% of their salaries for everyday product's prices going up to 10%. A democracy is "for the people, by the people", not "for capitalism only". And considering Germany is starting to do the same strikes thanks to France, that the French people is also inviting other countries to do the same, but that american medias are purposely hiding these to their people... Shows the future may or may not be bright... Depends on how the World itself is revolting about those extreme minorities having more wealth than 95% of the population. Oh, and most importantly: there are strikes almost every single day, even to places noone would never think about (such as yesterday where they sent 3000 policemen for a superbassine made for 16 people. LOL). The next biggest strike is planned tomorrow, the 28th of March. And apparently, the government is calling the people "terrorists" because of the strikes done. Yes, we also have healthcare, and many advantages that were earned through the help of the leftists (more vacation weeks, 35 hours a week and more), at the cost of earning less money because of way more taxes than any other countries (we are the country with the most taxes afaik). Sarkozy said something to silently bypass these 35 hours: "Travailler + pour gagner +" (Work more to earn more). Macron attempted to destroy this by saying "work more to earn less", followed by a possibility to come back to 40 hours a week (that seems to be planned according to some leaks). Besides, we were before at 60 years. in 2010 (Sarkozy) it went up to 62 years. Now, they want 64 years. Some ministers want that after Macron's presidency, they want to up it to 67 years. There's a time we need to say STOP. Isn't it already the case? People are being paid less for translation jobs, because half of it is translated through DeepL...
