  1. Hey man, remember that 2013 shitty map contest you had back in the day? Do you have a copy of that megawad somewhere around? Both links seen on this page are broken.

    Thanks for the feedback! The bug on Map13's something I fixed quite a while ago but I keep forgetting to keep the links updated. There's a big bugfix coming soon, possibly with new level(s) included. Sorry for the recent lack of upgrades and making this project seem pretty dead, been just busy with life and doing other things, but I'll try to push this to a final release as fast as I can.

    The only entities edited in DeHackEd are SS Nazi (new monster), Commander Keen (new monster), Cyberdemon (uses KeenDie for special triggers) and some corpse actors (edited to use other sprites) from what I remember, the rest should be fine.

    A new version is out! Still no new maps though, unfortunately. It includes some quality of life improvements on maps 03, 06, 18 and 19 (possibly more). Some encounters were rebalanced or the areas changed slightly for better pacing. Map19 received some changes in terms of item placement. While I'm working on 3 new maps at the same time, Guardsoul decided to begin work on a new level as well. There are two new finished maps made by another guest mapper that I might release soon but they require some polishing and testing first. [Download]

    Progress is slow as I'm working on several maps at the same time right now. I've been running out of ideas for the current levels or they simply didn't look that good to me so I had to redo some stuff, plus I have a lot on my head right now. I could post some screenshots but I think I'd rather just wait with that until I release these maps. As much as I'd love to work on this as much as I can, it's hard to come up with good results and I've been trying to really up the quality for the final levels.

    It's still a WIP so I will try to make things more suitable for easier difficulty settings. Don't worry, I really appreciate feedback like this and map06 has already seen several changes in terms of difficulty. (That map just isn't that great overall \o/) Could you specify which area seems difficult in particular?

    Difficulty settings are implemented. The levels are big and full of monsters no matter which difficulty you play on, though there's a pretty clear difference between all difficulty settings.

    I'm not dead, just out of ideas and time for the time being. Once I'm done with some other projects of mine I might eventually go back to working on this. Sorry for the lack of updates, doom just stopped being my main priority at the moment.

    Long time no see everyone! Map19's complete and I should have more time to work on this project now. The aim is to finish it this year, though, with the seemingly increasing map size with each next level, that might prove to be quite difficult. After Map20 I might cut the map sizes a bit if you guys won't mind, though I hope they will be as good as they were up to this point. Still, if you wanna help me playtest the levels, grab the latest version and give em a try! Any help and feedback is appreciated! Some screenshots:

    Glad you're enjoying the levels! Now, as to the issues you've found, I plan on fixing all bleeding textures later on, I'm aware of most of them and they do happen on some levels. The Lost Souls on map05 are intentionally inside of each other (a dumb reference to the original map) and uh... the sector 309 lift bug might be caused by a PassThru trigger, though I'm not 100% sure. It happens very rarely but I've seen this bug once before. I switched the order of actions on the PassThru trigger so it hopefully shouldn't happen anymore, and if it still does I'll find some workaround later. A small update on the mapset itself, it's not dead but my life's been quite busy. Slowly working on maps 19 and 31 right now, they're more than halfway done. Hopefully, I can finish this project by the end of 2018, but that depends on my future schedules.

    Thoughts on HDOOM?

    I wish that an update appears soon, this mod is pure gold and deserves everyone's attention, HDoomguy is the master of the pixels. All I want tho is more Cacodemon girl plz.
