Warpath looks really fun and refreshing. Kind of sad there's no mention of a dedicated CTF mode given how popular it is within the current Doom community. -
Idk, probably stream some Doom 2 Duels, or CTF until launch, then stream my playthrough of the game once it unlocks.

Yeah, just like last update after the previous alpha all it is "updating" is removing all the files but directx stuff.

So did Game Informer just not put an article out for the 28th or am I missing it?

Don't expect a speed change to the core game this late in development. The entire map design of the game is currently built around the player speed now so that's just impossible to expect an increase to the entire game. If I remember correctly I think it was mentioned that snapmap allows players to increase movement speed, also during one of the E3 videos when they show off "classic four player deathmatch" made via snapmap it looks to be at least twice the current speed, to me anyways.

Cool thing to note is a few days after the first alpha had ended they removed everything but directx stuff from the Doom Alpha install on our machines, and after this second alpha they just left it all there. So maybe that's just an accident or maybe the next alpha will have little to no changes within the exe itself, possibly all server sided configuration changes or something along those lines? As for more speculation, I guess I would say I think at the end of this Game Informer coverage we will get some information about a beta date or possibly an open alpha mp date. Again mainly just all hopeful speculation.

I'm fairly certain the iDstudios tools will be released shortly after launch for pc. As for the entire games future I expect it to sell decently but probably be barren after a month or two from launch, although I hope for it to be incredibly popular and active for a long time. Who knows, it might.

If we're having issues or anything is there any official outlet for us to report them to without breaking the NDA or whatever?

I'm curious as if SLI or crossfire will have any up sides or down sides. I have two 780 ti's currently and I think one would be enough to play at a steady framerate around max settings or hopefully max. Also curious as to what options we have when it comes to video settings, I assume it will be very limited to basic stuff.

No invite yet for steam, maybe they've not went out yet and are doing consoles first, but I'm probably just being delusional. :(

If the open beta starts some time next year along with the actual release of the full game, makes me curious as to when this alpha is going to start and how long it's going to go on for.

I'd say about the same as TNO weapons I guess, it's hard to tell the weapons I used most in the Doom multiplayer were the vortex and and plasma, different style weapons. To me they felt great.
