Typically just mouselook and I let autoaim do the rest, usually does fine when it works. I do have Q bound to toggle freelook on and off though for certain situations in ctf. I do not like playing with freelook on.

Curious if the medal chain counter or whatever you'd call it gets slowed down if you hold the weapon wheel key. It does some funky stuff with BFG damage on bosses if you do.

I disabled voice around the 2nd week of the launch and re-enabled it about a month ago, I can see people are talking but I can't hear them. Voice volume is turned up and everything, people can hear me. Now I have had other sound related issues with Doom as well, don't have them if I use my on-board sound over my sound card.

Agree with mostly everyone else here. Leaked trailer had really sweet music, final trailers music is pretty shit.

I think it will do fine and most the negative reviews are just shit heads jumping on some sort of party train. Now I do have issues with the game, like proper dedicated servers so players ping under god damn 100 consistently which I think would fix things like players dying to others after they've killed them, glory kills from large distances etc. Can't believe rockets still do next to zero self damage though.

I really enjoyed it, they need to fix the issue with more than two people on the same connection playing, also they still have not changed self damage the rockets deal. That's my biggest complaint of the game so far.

Ping is disgustingly high.
