While most often not explicitly intended, many art exhibitions are just too big to really see everything in a single visit. Also, this dead-end design in games is nothing new, see most of the adventure games that Infocom made. It's just something you have to think about and in doubt: Save early, save often.

There was also a wizard based FPS called Magestorm. Don't remember much about it though. Only that there were 3 teams in a Match.

What do you think Quake will have for a new gameplay mechanic?

I agree. I don't like railguntype weapons at all in multiplayer games. -
Those attempts didn't have the name and the marketing funds that Bethesda could utilize for a new arena shooter. So I think a pure arena shooter by id/bethesda could be sucessful. I don't know what to think of the game yet. What I've seen is leaving me cold

Oh. I just tried to start prboom+ with "-warp 01" per terminal and it has the same behaviour: Centering the mouse and using this mouse movement as input. I just never tried to warp to a level per command line before. So your Launcher works fine, the problem lies with prboom+. -

Only happens with prboom+. Just tested ZDoom and it works fine there. I'm using Linux btw. -

Hi, Something strange happens, when I start a WAD and warp to a level: The Viewpoint is turned a bit when starting the map. This depends on the position of the RocketLauncher2 window when starting. This happens when Rocket Launcher is a "full screen" window: http://imgur.com/ytKD2YB And this happens, when Rocket Launcher is next to a another window: http://imgur.com/KZiZIZb Seems like QT somehow moves the mouse a bit when starting the game. -
Artificial intelligence challenges to the human once again

Good go players just can remember their recent games almost perfectly. I don't know how they do that, but someone told me that this skill develops automatically with the playing skill itself. It's quite fascinating I think. -
Hey, I'm also in the middle of a Angband run with a Dunadan Warrior. My favourite roguelike is Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup though.

One of my favourites: I also quite like:

Most of the mentioned midis sound like metal. Except D_THE_DA imho.

I think something in the vein of Portal and similar would fit quite well. At least for some parts.
