Got back into Cities: Skylines. Been watching tutorials, trying to make my cities look realistic and cool. Failing miserably at that. Also got back into Elder Scrolls: Legends, which is probably my all-time favorite card game. Sadly, I hear rumor they're abandoning it...just like all my other favorite card games.

What's the best SNES game you've ever played?
Sharessa replied to ReeseJamPiece's topic in Everything Else
Chrono Trigger, with Final Fantasy 6 being a close second. I also love Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario World, Final Fantasy 5, Super Mario RPG, Ogre Battle, and Seiken Densetsu 3 (I guess its called Trials of Mana now). -
I think I found this place back in '98 or '99. I remember reading the 5 Years of Doom article. That was before there were forums. I joined up about a year after the forums went live, but I think I only lurked for maybe a few days before posting. That might explain how much of a noob I was back then. That and the fact I was a teenager at the time.

Playing Skyrim again. Just finished the Moonpath to Elsweyr mod for the first time.

What was the first custom wads you have played?
Sharessa replied to Lizardcommando's topic in WAD Discussion
UAC_Dead, Crossing Acheron, and Fava Beans are all classics I remember from when I first started downloading Doom wads. There was some website that was basically a collection of the best Doom 1 wads. I also just remembered one called "VW Temple" or something. IIRC the author made it in tribute to his VW that got stolen. :P -

You're asking me to remember back 25 years. First I played was probably Thud! though. It was pretty much the first megawad. I remember my dad had it on a disk before I ever started browsing the Internet for Doom wads. -
Been playing a shit ton of GTA Online, tryna make some dosh.

The Angry Video Game Nerd just did a video on Chex Quest.

Perhaps you should consider you have a specialized knowledge of Doom and they don't. You might not know some "obvious" facts about games they're experts on. -

They're console gamers, cut them some slack. :P -

Played it for a while in Doom 2 yesterday. Surprisingly enjoyable. -

Hell yeah...gonna play this right now. -
Thy Flesh Consumed had good level design for the time, but the first two levels are hard as balls. With that knowledge, choose to play it or not.

Granted, I kind of like his Cinemassacre stuff more than AVGN. Love the Rental Reviews series. He seems to be the most passionate and sincere when talking about movies, especially old horror movies. -
Like...thousands. I listen to a lot of music and it all comes bubbling back to the surface eventually. I've heard literally dozens of great video soundtracks. That said, here's one of my favorite video game theme songs of all time...

Your favorite PC exclusive action platformers?
Sharessa replied to FrancisT218's topic in Everything Else
Xargon was like an updated Jill, so was mostly superior, but Jill had amazing graphics and sound for its time. It's also more of a classic since it was the first, and seemed to be a favorite of Epic (it had its own pinball table). -

Sharessa replied to FrancisT218's topic in Everything Else
Keen 4 was probably my favorite, with Duke Nukem 2, Halloween Harry, Hocus Pocus, and Xargon filling up my top 5. Jazz Jackrabbit, BioMenace, Jill of the Jungle, Duke Nukem (1), Vinyl Goddess from Mars, and Jetpack. -

I love how he actually liked the game for once. Definitely one of his better AVGN videos in recent years, and it didn't rely too heavily on gimmicks. -
I think the general consensus is that lost souls are the most annoying enemy in the game, but since pain elementals can spawn them, they're hated even more.
-
Pain elementals, obviously, though they're kind of cute, too.
-
Now you're not even trying.

You do realize that these statements are completely contradictory. "I don't have a problem with these people but...<made up bullshit opinion that makes said group look bad>" is the oldest concern troll in the book.
-
If you think that's actually happening then you're the one who is ignorant and dumb here. I personally know plenty of trans individuals and all of them made the decision themselves, and they often had to fight for it. It's never forced on anyone. That's some alt-right propaganda bullshit you've bought into there. And what do you think is really going to happen with you coming here and making an account to say this shit on a left-leaning forum like this? You're going to end up banned and everyone involved is going to know you're an asshole.
-
Sounds like you are the naive troll here. Those suicide rates are that high because of assholes like you who think its some kind of fad or sickness and treat them like shit as a result (which is literally what Tarns said if you'd bother reading). So how about you get the fuck out of here with that bigotry and bad faith bullshit.

No one ever forced their child to become trans. That's some right-wind dog whistle propaganda. However, many, many, parents have decided their children are NOT trans for them and have done some horrible things in response.
