  1. Why do they call them love triangles? If it were a real triangle, it would involve some gay love somewhere in there.

Let's assume each person corresponds to a dot. Then each bit of love corresponds to a side. Then lets tak an example love triangle. Lets say it's Steve, Jenny, and Ron. Okay, Steve and Jenny are long term lovers, but recently Jenny and Ron's friendship has turned into some serious love. Okay, so we have Jenny and Steve who love each other, and Jenny and Ron who love each other. Theres 3 points and two sides. By definition, a triangle must have 3 points and 3 sides. So it's not really a triangle, its shaped like '>'. To make it a triangle we need Steve to crave Ron's hot ass or somesuch, thus gay sex.

They should call it a 'Love Angle' or a 'Love V' or a 'Love Inequality Sign'. Sillyness.

By strict geometrical definition, a triangle must have three dots and three sides. The word is however also valid as a term for open triangles (two sides and three dots), so you fail it.

Love doesn't care what shape it is. Love overcomes all mathematical forms. Or lust, in this case.

      Never heard of open triangles.

Steve: Heh, I just picked 3 names at random.
