My XDRE folder is filled with demo junk, no idea which one is actually required to run XDRE.

In this case, you need to thing run suicide because running on the imp in that direction (I believe, can't confirm) in builds up more speed when you die. you'll get more distance. Like j4rio said, the right side has the linedef closer.

Shouldn't be too hard imo. it defiantly saves time, just kill what's in that little area, lure an imp over and since its -cl9 you can die through enemies. Since its map02 and not like map09, no reason not to do it I feel.

E4M8 UV-Speed in 0:46 After watching ZeroMaster's demo, his E4M8 reminded me of my first demo ever made public (it's actually in this thread) and remembered what I couldn't do at that time with my abilities, and I've always wanted to make this demo. 3 second improvement of a run that hasn't been touched since '99 by Andy Kempling. Pretty happy with this :) Also, Andy Kempling's run is a Compet-n record but this is recorded in PrBoom+. u4m8-046.zip

You currently are only looking at glides as a speedrunner. Take in the position of a mapper, and as a mapper I would think it is one of the worse mistakes to ever make.

If I'm not wrong, this WAD needs to be updated because MAP11 has a secret death exit that doesn't consistently work on cl2. Although, cl9 works. -

Um... there is really no such thing as "died" in TAS because you can always rerecord for manipulating RNJ and dodging what needs to be dodged. -
But there is a linedef right behind the exit door that kills you.

I found the exit, it has a soul sphere in it. But even with the SR50 jump, I can't find a way to open a passage to it.

Loved the original AVJ, so I'll try this one :) I was able to get through most the map, until the ending. Kept trying and I'm not sure if the gap is small enough to AVJ.
