  1. Official Trailer What is this? Idiotic Last Man Standing is a minigame megawad that was formerly known as "Stupid Last Man Standing". This mod only works on Zandronum multiplayer, so grab a group of friends and have fun! Do keep in mind that the "humor" in this project may offend some. What does it have?40+ Maps Hiscores Skins Hats Accounts And more! Features?Dozens upon dozens of minigames.Player Blocking automatically enabled/disabled based on the map. Player-voted map selection. Account System - logging in allows collection of hats and ability to set hiscores. Combines Stupid LMS, Icon of Party, and Skulltag. And more! MAPPERS WANTED If anyone is interested in mapping for this project, just post below. I'll help you out if you get stuck in anyway. For an instant response, msg me on Zandronum's irc over at #pk. How do I play? Host a server in Zandronum and then join the game. On the server executable itself, simply type in "setup" and hit enter. This command will set EVERYTHING up for you as long as you are connected to the server. Once two or more people are in the game, the match begins. (Note: Hiscores and hats won't work unless you set a databasefile, I don't recommend anyone using this as it gets complicated.) If that's too complicated, just head over to out official server and wait a bit. There have been times where people played this mod for over 24 hours straight. Official Server: Idiotic LMS + Stupid LMS + Icon of Party. 5. Odamex Pros - Yay vanilla (sorta) Odamex Cons - Lack of essentially every modern feature in all doom ports, thus prepare to have headaches making maps. Also server activity is most of the time, dead. Shills on this thread will go and say "oh but its easy to start a game, just go on irc!!!" - if you don't feel like doing this every time you want people to play your maps, avoid Odamex. Zdaemon Pros - Its dated, but achieves limited modern features in hacky ways. While low, it has a consistent player base, gets about 30-50 players during peak US hours along with lots of community events, also more gamemodes. Zdaemon Cons - Lack of modern features. Engine wise Zdaemon is not bad and can handle a crap-ton of players without noticeable lag on complex maps. Zandronum Pros - The holy grail of doom multiplayer. You will find a little of everything here, from vanilla coop/dm to entirely custom mods. Has every advanced feature up to Zdoom 2.5, and will contain features from 2.7.1 once the next version is released. Don't get scared if you see a lack of vanilla servers, there's a dedicated crowd to basically every aspect of doom there. Both vanilla and modern maps can be played on this port. Zandronum Cons - Maps can lag depending on how complex it is. But as long as you arent spamming 3D floors everywhere, you should be fine. People have played multiplayer survival with 30,000 monsters in one map before without lagging out. You may start seeing performance issues once you get around 50+ players in a server. Overall I recommend Zandronum as your primary choice with Zdaemon being a backup. With Zandro you'll get access to a lot of wonderful features like the UDMF mapping format, pk3 support, free server hosting, and a wide audience (110+ players during peak US hours for the past 6 years). Depends on what you mean by limit-removing. Zdaemon has some basic stuff IIRC, but Zandro is superior in that regard.

  9. Oooook lemme lay it out for you This screenshot right here is bad: Why? It's a little thing I like to call "flamboyant texturing"; ie when you plaster a bunch of textures that clash in theme just to give an "illusion" that your map looks good when it really doesn't. To me, all that marble, wood, and hell textures with tree roots look horrible and it seems like every time you added a structure, you rolled a 20-sided dice to decide the texturing. Your biggest offender from that screenshot is the filthy brown staircase building thing on the right. Also don't use the "oh this is inspired from old 90s maps" excuse. We have tons of those already. Its like beating a dead horse when you make those kinds of maps. They usually tend to be unmemorable, bland, and more or less filler maps.

    FFA maps and gameplay

If I can't find a SSG or better within 2.5 seconds of spawning, then it's a bad map. ^ My general rule for any DM maps. Also don't add secret bfgs

Current list of Clans (All ports)

Not in Zandronum, the clan scene is quite alive and more-or-less drama free.
