here is the non twitching zombie i havent finished the shotgunguy yet also could someone check wich of the zombie frames needs to have its pants darkened, the colors jump around too much

those 3 are staying for a long while since im focusing on the easier to do ones first, but i do intend to redesing those 3 heavely EDIT i like the idea of the a caco that resembles the flying guy from quake also im editing the impeiled zombies right now

Doom With Less Gore: Helpful or Heresy?

the weapons should have been replaced with stun gun like in commander keen so the monsters are only stunned but not killed, thats also what the new doom needs, a gun that stuns, the bfg would teleport enemies, the supershotgun would be a sleep ray and the chainsaw would be a feather you would use to tickle your enemies -
that sounds like a good idea, lets see what fraggle or capto have to say about it

a while back i had posted in the zdoom forums my wish for a heaven based tc where you would fight angels and the like. the thing to remember here is that freedoom aims to be compatible with as many pwads as possible, so we cant just go and add stuff doom never did. also freedoom is not hell related like doom, its monsters being aliens rather then demons

thanks for clarifying so say freedoom is finished and i grab a copy and mod it, can i then relicense my mod under the gpl or any other license?

i didnt consider that (althoug stallman isnt just some person). ill let you guys decide if you want me to give the brainboss a try, having something non joke might lead to mappers using it in different ways EDIT to frithiof, i didnt meant replacing stallman, just adding stuff to make it look like he wasnt just dead on a stick, but actually part of the creature

speaking of testing i was using btsx with freedoom the other day and was surprised to see that it showed the original doom sprites instead of the freedoom ones. i added smooth doom to see if it worked well and it did, except for a few wrong colors in some firing frames

yeah thats the thing i was thinking of, althoug im nowhere near as talented as the guy in that video. a couple of questions, why is stallman the boss brain? can i edit him? id like to add some techie stuff to him so its not just the head in a stick, but that it actually looks like his controlling the icon of sin

playing psx doom with freedoom is awesome
