    >>>>>>>>>>>RC3 HERE<<<<<<<<<<< Earth didn't stand a chance. Whatever happened on Mars spewed forth and devoured home. The war against hell was brutal and short, nobody survived, except you. You've been biding your time, planning, plotting, preparing for a regime change from your hellish oppressors. You're a one man revolution and it's time for an uprising. What is uprising? Uprising is a narrative driven DOOM2 megawad for limit removing ports (tested on Crispy Doom). It features an extensive dehacked patch with changes to weapons and monsters, alongside varied maps and gameplay. You'll be fighting through wastelands, abandoned facilities, hellish installations, ruined cities, frozen techbases and beyond... How does it play? The intended difficulity is UV but all other skills are implemented. There is something for everyone, including maps dripping with atmosphere, non linear keyhunts, short shootouts, frantic slaughter and a few true epics. Don't worry if you're intimidated, the largest fights have been inundated with powerups on the lower difficulties to allow the budding tourist to explore safely. COOP is also implemented (currently untested) offering fierce resistance to a squad of marines trying to take some of these maps on. These maps have been designed with no jumping, no crouching and no mouselook, playing with these on will negatively affect the experience. In addition, trying to combine this with any sort of other gameplay modification is likely to end poorly, you have been warned... Weapon changes. Feedback on specific maps and encouters on these difficulties would be very useful. - There are certainly still bugs that I have missed, find them all! - Does a certain map strike a chord with you? The megawad currently has no bespoke music, if you feel like you could compose a fitting tune for any map please get in touch! Have fun!

    RC2 Available at OP. -Fixed wire textures. -All bug fixes logged so far. -Sound changes to pistol,chaingun,plasma,shotgun. -Updated sounds for cacobot.

    I will be putting in different sounds for the pistol, chaingun, plasma and shotgun in RC2. If you can't wait that long I have attached them here, they sound at the same volume as the stock sound effects on my end, your mileage may vary but anything is better than the current chaingun sounds. uprisingguns.zip

    Have you considered that it might rain corpses on a hellified earth? Or maybe doomguy is so messed up from being the last human alive that he's gone totally insane and is hallucinating... Has hell brought their reality with them warping space and time, causing corpses to never decay or warp in and out of existence, who knows... I don't! This is part of the joy of doom and why I tend to leave my maps spare on detail, it inspires the imagination to fill in the blanks.

    Must credit @Doomkid for the idea - I first saw it in Rowdy Rudy 2 so the zombieman and plasmaguy share the same sprite but are different colours.

    Oh thank you! I'm sorry but I forgot to put this in the credits (I will sort that). I think I had to edit the texture a little bit because I couldn't get a perfect version at the time or something along those lines, was a while ago when I added them. It's the multiplayer flags for changing the marine colours applied to the cyberdemon. It's also how the hotshot and marksman can use the same sprites, they are both derived from a green zombie marine sprite too.

    I just beat this in one sitting; this is a very impressive piece of work. MAP17 stands out as so immersive and impressive, my fav of the set.

    (RELEASE) Doom: The Way We Remember It (V2)

    It's designed as berserk map as berserk is what I remembered most about E2M2. Save ammo for cacos and lost souls, punch everything else. I just beat it UVMAX with 11 shells, 85 bullets and 1 rocket to spare. It is tight on ammo but intentionally so.
  23. Ascend the mountain to find out what the UAC were getting up to and stop the hellish invasion! V1.2 (Newer than IDGAMES, contains more visual fixes and one softlock on MAP28) CPD V1.3.zip Ever since the UAC set up shop in the mountain you've been getting complaints from the nearby towns. They range from excessive nukage seeping into their water supply to unstable nightmares assualting their sleep. Despite this, the facilities within the mountain kept growing, until one day the whole facility went dark, no contact with the outside world. As the only soldier close enough to make a difference you hopped into your hover vehicle to investigate, travelling through the mountain ranges until you arrived at one of the many entrances into the maze of facilities. Before entering you set up your recon drone to go through the many access tunnels in hopes of finding out more whilst you will burst through the main entrance. Your goal is the summit and whatever they found up there... Map Format: DOOM2 IWAD: DOOM2 Maps: MAP01 - MAP32 Gameplay: Single player and CO-OP. Difficulty Settings: Monster counts adjusted for easy, medium and hard. Tested in: PRBoom+, Gzdoom, and Crispy Doom (Some issues with skies and slime trails in Crispy Doom but works fine) Screenshots below: More screenshots!
