    You don't need 'em, just look at some of the community made level packs out there, they managed to make good looking and fun levels without using either of these things, not to say they wouldn't be of any use, just something that's rarely useful.

    The HD Shotgun is actually one of the few redeeming points of the HD Pack, But I definitely wouldn't mind a more Classic-inspired design for the Shotgun.

    My thoughts exactly, It would have been much better if they drew inspiration from the HD Pack Shotgun but considering how hostile CC is towards feedback and how much they want to stick to their own vision of a Remake it'll likely never happen, this one looks slightly better IMO.

    Windows 10, most programs that seem do this are usually because they need admin permission to modify or create files.

    Yes I believe you need to give it admin permission if you want to have it under Program Files (or was it C:/ ?).

    What does WadGen say when you try to generate the wad using it? and have you already tried running it as an admin?

    I think Doom 64 EX Community Project 2018-19 or chest or something like that would be a good enough name tbh, simple and describes what the project really is. Had some time to work on this today (no that's not a platforming section :P)

    This might be a good time to ask, how do you make switches animate when pressed? I thought it would be as simple as giving it a SW1 or SWA Texture like in the original game but no, the switches do work but they don't change their texture.

    This is a common one I feel, but I always try to save Rockets and Cells for tough fights, and then when these fights come I just end up using SSG and Chaingun instead.

    Luckily you can turn it off from the Edit menu in GZDB, I prefer to have it on so I can just Zoom In to decrease the Grid Size.

    Thanks :) but I think I'll just stick with DB2 for now, it's just a minor annoyance and I think I'm starting to get used to it.

    Forgot how awful Doombuilder 2 was, there's no dynamic grid size, no autoselect for all linedefs on same line, wish GZDB-BF adds support for D64EX someday. The texture selection is also rather limited, even with the additional resource pack loaded.
