Being prepared is important because you never know when an emergency will strike. Do you have a readiness kit in your car or home? If so, what do you have inside?

Just another thought from looking at your kit design, maybe labeling where things are like bandages, antiseptic spray etc would help? ie. putting a big stamp where something important is.

It sounds corny but I've been in a few accidents and it felt pretty strange in the aftermath. When you are walking out of a crash, your brain is not in the same place and things can seem confusing. Putting big-assed letters on something important could be helpful.

I've never thought of keeping it all in a tackle box, but that's a good idea! The kit I keep in my car needs updating, so perhaps I'll go with such a box this time around.

Two additional things I would include is a Life Straw, and a magnesium fire stick instead of matches. The straw is good if there isn't potable water nearby, and yours either went bad with age, or got spilled, or whatever. The magnesium fire starter probably lasts longer than the matches.

Also a multi-tool instead of just a knife. I keep like three of those things around me all the time, heh.

      Cupboard

      1) A whistle in case you get lost
      2) Condoms in case the pussy game ridiculous
      3) Instant coffee if you go for that. Alternate: caffeine pills like No-Doz
      4) A few MREs
