opinions on how my rig will handle Eternal

thanks everyone...forgot to mention that i will be running it on a SSD too. just looking for 1080p max performance and at least 60fps with settings cranked
  2. I7 6700K 4.0ghz 16GB RAM GTX 1070 8gb vram MSI Z170A Gaming motherboard Predator 144hz monitor I built this PC in spring of '16 specifically for Doom 2016...it runs it flawlessly on extreme and 1080p well above 100fps. All I want to be able to do is run Eternal in 1080p with a minimum of 60fps on extreme to see all the eye candy and still play smoothly of course. I know its not out yet so its impossible to say for sure, but for the hardcore guys that are up on the tech of the engine in Eternal...what do you think? I appreciate the info and thank you!
  3. yeah i realize its from a library of sounds that can be used by whomever, but i just got a kick out of the fact that it made me look up at my tv as soon as i heard it. crazy how it alerted me immediately lol
  4. i hope this wasnt posted already. i did a quick search and didnt see it but i was stoked to hear the zombie man alert sound by reigndeer in this new commercial lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kc9h_w5xogQ

"Doom Hunter" was inspired by "Hell Tank" from Zentrix?

bit of a stretch, but i immediately thought of Vic Rattlehead with horns when i saw the closeup of its face mainly because of the metal piece over his eyes. i know the mouth isnt wired shut tho lol....might have something to do with me being a huge Megadeth fan :)

  12. hello all, hoping someone has seen this before...whenever i scroll to the plasma gun, my game crashes to the console with the following error attached. i'm using the latest GZDoom (4.0), but it did the same with the previous release. whats weird is that it will work sometimes, but i cant figure out what triggers it to happen. Thanks!

very cool...love the USB/floppy idea and that box art is amazing. brings back warm fuzzy feelings of when we got our first family computer in 95 and i was trying to figure out how to install doom :)

    Doom Slayer Chronicles

anyone have any luck getting brutal doom to work with this? I have v21 but not sure how to link it with this. i'm used to just dragging files and wads over to the gzdoom executable and running them that way. but since this one has the batch files, i'm not sure what to do. thanks
