Thoughts about the enemy and 1st experience with- Cacodemon
Tritnew replied to SerialCereal's topic in Doom General
The first time I encountered the Revenant, it spooked the shit out of me with it's scream. They're the reason why I love skeletons. As for the Cacodemon, they always comes to mind whenever I think of DOOM. I think the spookiest monster (from my 10 year old self) was the Specter. -
Looking forward to giving this a playthrough.

I unironically enjoy Babymetal, the same goes with my GF.

what are you working on? I wanna see your wads.

Just a Map 31 submission for TraceofSpade's MegaWAD "DOOM II: Redux". Going through with this map this time. It's like being a part of a MegaWAD project kind of boosts my confidence a bit. -
The problem is, is that I'm getting my internet from a local Home Depot until I can get proper internet. So simply, it's because of that. I also tried VPNs too.

If you're going for the debut, head onto Pretty Hate Machine.
-
Don't forget that Trent did the soundtrack for Quake too. Maybe you should start with Broken or The Downward Spiral if you want to see a more heavier NIN. For a more synthpop sound, I'd start with Pretty Hate Machine (which I did) But trust me, Broken and TDS started my love for 'em.

Korn's cover of Another Brick in The Wall is pretty good, I mainly favor their covers for Part 1 and 3 though. The chorus in Part 2 is kind of bad. Though, Pink Floyd is more kickback and I don't think it'd fit for Metal, in my humble opinion. Here it is anyways. If you're looking for a more "LOOK NOW FUCKERS, I'M ON TOP NOW" version of the three songs, here you go. And here's NIN covering David Bowie's "I'm Afraid of Americans".

Mediafire is blocked from my internet service, so usually I go "FACK" when I see a mod that needs to be downloaded from there.

I feel the same way too. I used to LOVE metal but I went for a more alternative rock preference. Mainly industrial and progressive rock, been listening to Skinny Puppy and all that. I just try to get into curtain genres though other then the ones I listen to.

I think they improved the Lost Soul in DOOM 2016, it makes sense for it to be a kamikaze enemy.
-
I like Slayer as well, the newer stuff I can live without though.
-
And yet you're not complaining about the others going off-topic on this?
-
I'm not one for Pantera, but I like them. As soulsweeper said though, they're more of a groove metal band, not thrash.
-
^Well, as a player I'm mostly in for gameplay, my good man. I prefer some simple puzzle solving, like you gotta shoot a curtain thing and open up a little area to find a key or skullkey, and you continue to the next areas.

^Fraggle FTW.

I know, right? Hell, hearing a guitar solo always brings a tear to my eye if it's filled with emotions coming from the player. One of the greatest things about Rock and Metal.
-
I've heard of Vaporwave. Does this count as Vaping?
-
I mostly focus on details AND gameplay, I mostly go for the "Well, there's a shotgun, but you triggered the Shotgun Guys or Chaingun Guys, get 'em quick!". Or, I guess instant action, at least after a little simple puzzle room.

Speaking of which, I still gotta play the older Fallout games. Fallout 4 was pretty good, but I still gotta complete quests on it.
-
Congrats!
-
Well damn, at least we know that.

^You're a damn genius.
