    Warming Up
  1. Could I see the link to the wad with the rifle put back in? Thanks.
  2. I know it is possible to take things such as levels from the beta release and put the into the final game as I have done it before, but I was wondering if it is possible/how to take the versions of the BFG and Plasma Gun found in the press release WAD and put them into the final game. Thanks. P.S. You can find the press release beta here: https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/historic/doomprbt
  3. Have you tried dumping the cart again? Also, why are you opposed to DLing it if you own it already?

    Zandronum on PPC

Apparently some have had success with compiling Zandronum for PPC Macs. I have Doomseeker working on my Tiger install on a PPC G4, but I'd like Zandronum to use with it. I've searched online and apparently some people have gotten it to compile on PowerPC Macs. I was wondering how I could go about doing so? What prerequisites would be necessary to compile on a PPC Mac? Thanks. It would also be useful for other people searching, so if I get it working I will tell how!
  5. Yeah, I'm working on that. Right now I've just been figuring everything out and seeing what works when you play and what doesn't. Hallways seem kind of lame so far, and I'm probably going to revamp most of the levels. Thanks for the input and taking the time to actually reply instead of flaming. Other FPS forums seem to be full of flamers/trolls. (cs:go community, I'm looking at you) thanks so much guys for the input.
  6. The name is because the wad is terrible as it's my first wad with multiple levels. It's my second wad overall. It's not very good, but I made it because I wanted to. I hope I can make some content that is more quality than this crappy map in the future, haha. Thanks for looking. I might upload some footage of it or even the wad if you guys want me too. The map is WAY too linear. http://imgur.com/IeseKKj - Map01 opening http://imgur.com/rlmKvTR - A narrow hallway found later in map01 http://imgur.com/nB62a7J - Some spectres in map02 http://imgur.com/bHf8Jv5 - A boss(?) battle in map02 http://imgur.com/78rA8pv - all dead :D http://imgur.com/GSNcOec - A long hallway of monsters. Dumb question: Why are my doors screwed up

I must be missing something totally obvious with this, but it's pretty obvious something is wrong when you play the map with these doors. It replaces map02 for doom2. https://www.dropbox.com/s/zf7yzlhh2ub2hyv/wtf.wad?dl=0 virustotal: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/180fa180a4f2caf36dedaee9995b62ecb94072cc3c0dd62298613d2546892d36/analysis/1425835437/

    Another "first wad"

Hi, I know you guys probably hate seeing noobs' wads all of the time. Whatever. You can handle one more, right? This is my first wad and it replaces MAP01 of Doom 2. The only reason I'm posting is to see if I'm doing everything right. If you want screenshots, I can post some. It should run on vanilla doom 2, but I tested it on Zandronum. There is 1 secret. You can try to find it if you want, shouldn't be too hard. Thank you so much for trying my first wad :) https://www.dropbox.com/s/uflzbcne6lrs9xf/anoobmap.zip?dl=0 virustotal: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/464d2c9b263b4a71f5d57cc949a21a3aa9ec78d64744012dd336889a00cf54ad/analysis/1425828136/
  9. I just started doom mapping. This map is for doom2. I tested it on zandronum using retail doom2. I know this is a stupid question, and the fix is probably really easy. Whatever, I can just blame it on the fact that it's midnight, right? https://www.dropbox.com/s/0x5xwu1pn76631g/first.zip?dl=0 virustotal: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/41e4968d5cf239403b45ef25fa7dd8c00ad0c46720e59b8062a8f5d71045e403/analysis/1425790454/
