That's the thing I couldn't get back to the start of the level, I couldn't find where to go after I got the red key I walked around for 15 mins until I had to go to work, and yeah some of those things are fine I mean I found them eventually it's just my opinion otherwise it's great gameplay wise

I like it a lot but there is a huge flaw. You don't mark what's allowed to be opened, like for example in the first room how am I supposed to know to hit use on the bloodfall? This is repeated over and over, how am I supposed to know to walk through the other one? How am I supposed to know to hit use on the bookshelf? These should all be secrets not things you have to do, it got so bad I got stuck after getting the red key, I can't find where to go at all. But the game play is really fucking fun and well designed

You forgot to mention source port it's meant for. Is it Boom?

Alright so it's alright for a first WAD I can see the effort in places but it's basically just a ton of rooms connected to each other with unlimited ammo and health. Really easy and boring but good for a first attempt, just try to add variation to the level and not include cyberdemons and spidermasterminds just because you can

rdwpa I just played your demos thanks a lot :) it looks like you shook your head to the teleporter secret on MAP02 because there were only a few health bonuses but you didn't find the whole secret, there is a soulsphere in there if you know how to get it :P Anyway thanks a lot

It's mostly just a name I thought of because the levels don't have any story or theme besides kill the demons haha Yeah it was gonna be a secret map and the joke is that it's MAP01 and I made it during the year of the skeleton :P I'll def add more ammo or a plasma gun

Sorry yeah I know I kinda vanished, but if you want I'll take the map out in the final version. I don't know how much more work I'll put into this WAD it really drained me as it was too ambitious for what I usually do. But I know I'm gonna be making final tweaks before releasing the final version

I'm glad you enjoyed, for MAP08 I'm probably gonna get rid of the gunners behind you, and I don't know what to do with the infinity tall actors, also I completely forgot about that secret hahaha, I never used it in testing. BTW I'm about to watch your demos, I kinda forgot earlier bc I got distracted (that always happens)

What's funny is I always thought that I had enough ammo there, do you think I need more? Hahaha and MAP05 you seem to be so scared to trigger any more traps at the end, that's how I know I did good. I mean I listened to Anthrax for the mosh pit map (MAP05). Slipknot was the majority of it, and Rick Astley was to motivate me tweaking things haha

For some reason I don't know if its bc I'm play Doom Retro but Imps don't always die in one punch and it makes me mad how inconsistent it is

But if Doom wasn't Doom, then wouldn't it be Doomed like the less Doomy Doom that ID scraped before they released this more Doomy Doom?

Goddammit skillsaw! I hate you! Every time you post something I get upset! Usually I cry because it's soooo beautifully put together and ughhh I love your levels. It makes me jealous (in a good inspiring way) Valiant was my favorite Wad for the longest time, it's just so amazing. I can't wait to play this

I'm going to pretend the first time I played Doom 2 wasn't in GzDoom. I'm also going to pretend I didn't think "Plain and Simple" was too easy because I didn't realize I cheated by jumping straight to the switch

So I guess I should get around to it then...

My only critique is that the monsters are a little fast and less beefy, just seems weird. Otherwise I love it :)
