  1. Has anyone else noticed the dirt cheap yams lately? At the Giant Eagles around here they're normally $1.49 a pound. Recently they went down to 50 cents per pound. I went home for Thanksgiving after that and found them for 39 cents per pound at Farmer Jacks. But they're back up to 79 cents per pound over here. Anyone seen them even cheaper over Thanksgiving season?

If I wanted potatoes to taste sweet, I'd...
Wait, I would never in my right mind want that.

Cranberry sauce all the way. This Thanksgiving, my dad made this low-carb cranberry/raspberry mix. It was really tart, but it tasted damn good. No sugar, either.

anyone know what eggplant taste like? is it worth trying to eat?

also what about lamb? should i try eating lamb and eggplant?

Eggplants are bulbous vegetables that are a deep, deep purple in color. They're usually used in Italian dishes and eaten alone are usually pretty bland/mild, which is why they're usually simmered in or cooked along with foods that have a potent flavor they can absorb. They can be prepared by themselves too, however. I guess they're only worth eating if you have a good recipe for them.

Lamb is awesome. Especially if it's spiced properly. I don't know about eggplant and lamb together, but you can give it a try and let us know how it works out for you.

We probably bombed some nation and took their yams.
