  1. Floof & Sap Art Images presents:

    3 Steps To Nowhere

    A photograph of mine...

    A photoshop of Espi's...

And a complete reliance on a picture being worth a thousand words for the sake of avoiding another long drawn-out introduction:

(10 steps short of a Pantera song, but I don't think it would suit the scenery very well anyway.)

Here's one of a railroad to go with that.

Ahaha, yeah that's a dead end alright.

In the thumbnail, that almost looked like a screenshot of the bridge-crash scene in HL2. Did you take that?

Anyway, here's the original image (1280x960). The steps really do lead to nowhere. I took the picture at a small park near the center of town, along with about 30-40 others. The light on that day was amazing. It was a day after a fresh snowfall, there was barely a trace of clouds in the sky, and the sun reflecting off the snow was borderline blinding. Even after 20 minutes outside, I was still squinting. It was the first time I ever had to decrease the aperture size on the camera to take a picture. I set it to the smallest setting and then I set the shutter speed to its quickest setting (1/1000th of a second) and there's still a bit of light-burn on some of the images.

Heh, I really do need to find a good image host so I can start some kind of photoblog and get all these pictures posted.

Hah, so it was a riddle and I was almost there (no lake, just nothing). Indeed a public place not one's house.

Now... myk, I doubt stairs like those could lead to a house behind the photographer. Ain't likely for a house to be sunken (front stairs leading up).
