  1. alright im back! sorry for the lack of posts, ive been splitting my attention between surrender the dead and another game of mine. 

     

    ANYWAY! here's what ive been up to: voxels!

    gonna make me some voxels and try them out for that A E S T E H I C

     

    (see pic for first attempt and testing mirroring)

     

    now if the voxels dont end up looking like i want them to, ill; try smoothing them out in blender and making better models that way. again, if all else fails, ill sprite them by hand but i want to do it this way mostly bc

    i wanna get better @ 3d modeling as well as save myself some headache.

     

    so, what's to be made? glad you asked...

     

    -candy jar

    -broken candy jar

     

    -beverage dispensers

     

    -floor tiles(for bumpmapping purposes)

     

    -doors

    -barred doors

    -don't dead, open inside

     

    -weapons

    -(speaking of) will be adding/tweaking more weapons than the three i had planned. they dopnt balance out well

    by themselves.

     

    -appliances, such as microwaves, stoves, light switches etc.

     

    -outlets, doors, etc

     

     

    this part may take some time bc i need to plan which are to be recycled in one form or another.

    but basically, as previously stated, im re working everything, really. but some areas  had planned for levels will be used for small cut scenes (think ES: Oblivion)

    and yeah! that's about all i have so far. the good news is that bc the voxel program im using is so easy, it should not take too long to show real progress.
