    Good Boomer shooter YouTube channels

Check out 'MandaloreGaming'. He isn't purely retro fps, in fact he seems quite interested in unique and forgotten genres but with it quite a number of old school shooters and takes a particular interest in their lore as well. Marathon, System Shock, Necrovision, Stalker and Fire Warrior to name a few. He presents with a monotone voice that's surprisingly interesting to listen to.
  2. I thought of another bad universe. Dying Light. But essentially any zombie game applies.
  3. On the top of my head, I can think of two: Dead Space - Humanity was born to simply be biomass for a horrid all consuming specie that is beyond our abilities to destroy, we can only try to hide. Dying by them is gory and nightmarish. Meanwhile society is succumbing to a cult influenced by these things. Warhammer 40k - There are many games so it should count. 99% oh humans live terrible lives, worse than slaves from our past. Dying is no better as the only afterlife is essentially hell. Xeno species don't have it much better.

    opinions on pineapple on pizza?

The age old "should pineapple be on pizza" question has become a meme and cliche. Well the best answer is: Depends on the authenticity and style of the Pizza. Where Pineapples are inappropriate: Classic Italian, wood oven baked pizza with a focus on the dough's texture and gourmet but limited toppings. E.g. buffalo cheese, moist margherita sauce, and a thin crust, sprinkled with oregano and some basil. When done right, you will clearly taste the sauce, cheese and herbs within the soft crusty warm bread. Adding Pineapple would just interrupt the perfect harmony of flavors. Where Pineapples are appropriate: General fast food style. Often the sauce isn't noticeable and the cheese serves more of a cool stringy effect than flavor. The toppings are plentiful and often very meaty and cheesy that makes the pizza quite salty. This is when Pineapple is a good addition to the pizza, as the moist sweet flavor hit helps balance the otherwise dominating salty, thick flavors and texture.

    GTA VI Trailer

My impressions: - Good graphics - Good animations - This time the or one of the protagonists is female - Everything else is more GTA
  6. I killed it. I hesitated to do so, but logically all factors were in favour in doing so. The questionable reasons to spare the the revenant are: It wasn't a threat - at that time We appreciated its service (unwilling service, mind) And here the reasons for killing it: It is a demon that wants the Slayer and any other human dead, regardless of it being forced to help you If it is left alive, who is to say it isn't unleashed back to earth to kill more innocence or even attack the Slayer? If there is any humanity left in it, it would be in agony and killing it would be a mercy

Talking to people you don't like

@EraserheadBaby to be fair, I shared the same impression as @ClumsyDoomer's first post. A random person whom you never met and know nothing about, but clearly can identify his controversial extreme ideology via a tattoo walks in to smoke a blunt and you chose to subtly discuss your past relationship with a Jewish women. Without a doubt on my mind you had a little agenda in mind, or a morbid curiosity, be it good intentioned or not, but you opted to gently stoke the fire a little and feeling proud (this thread) of a neutral or positive outcome. If we are way off on your intentions then... well there is possibly an ironic outcome somewhere in the underlying message of this thread about effective communication haha

    What are your Relaxing Games?

After the many stressful, high pressure, failed attempts at Faster Than Light (FTL) it eventually became familiar and relaxing. Soft music, simple point and click combat mechanics, ability to pause and plan during battle, and simple to read dialogue make the game relaxing. Sometimes games like Red Dead Redemption 2 with animal hunting and playing poker for hours is relaxing.

    I love Youtube's war on ad-blockers

Your subjective opinion is objectively wrong.

    Internet breaks

I'm able to easily distinguish platforms, communities and environments I don't like pretty easily. I've always avoided public social media channels, those chan forums, and essentially all news sites. As a result, the internet serves as an effective work, information and entertainment space without the need for breaks. We all control the content we consume and communities we expose ourselves too. If the internet becomes to much, it's likely you're making the mistake.

What's your favorite armor system in games?

I prefer an armour system that protects based on its quality and % of protection is influenced by its durability / damage. Also, I prefer the armour pickups not to stack like a retro Doom / FPs, rather the player needs to pick it up and replace or repair it. Therefore a 50% top tier armour still may be more worth while than a 100% low quality armour. Also in some cases, I wouldn't mind including Halo's armour / shield system that grants the player invulnerability until it drains and can recharge, maybe as a added bonus to a top tier set or unique character class / upgrade.

    Art You No Longer Love

As a teenager I use to love Insane Clown Posse. I usually hide that fact in public nowdays. But despite my thoughts on their fan base and their questionable varying levels of musical quality, I respect how they did create a unique spin to rap. Some songs were like 80s and 90s horror story telling in rap form and are fun to listen even to this day.

A salad is just a breadless sandwich.

Them are fighting words. I challenge your ignorant claims with this logic: Each dish is an experience that differ significantly from one another. Here are some of the various compenents to consider: Texture: soft, crunch, chew, temperature, moisture Flavour: sweet, savoury, sour, bitter, spicy Nutrients: proteins, fats, vitamins, fibre, carbohydrates etc Appearance: colour, shape, consistency, shades, presentation etc Aroma: smell, pungency, freshness etc With that said, applying these components to a salad vs sandwich comparison can alter the experience significantly, from a change of texture, added flavours, hunger quenching to even temperature and aroma, regardless if majority of ingredients are shared. Another way to look at it... would Jim from accounting simply be the same if he were to not wear any clothes to work, being butt naked in public? No, our perception, including our feelings towards Jim would differ on a person by person basis. Some want him with clothes, some want without. He isn't just Jim anymore. So to imply a salad and sandwich are no different to one another due to a change in ingredient does a great disservice to the respected culinary arts and achievements of the human race. May your next meal come unseasoned!

    What's your favourite food?

It won't be surprising to hear from someone with Italian parents, but some of my favourite dishes are pasta, schnitzel parmigiana and pizza. I really love a charcoal flamed grilled scotch fillet steak. Oh and BBQ spare ribs are a great treat. I also favour other foods like chicken kiev, sausages, and mexican food. Burgers are great - but not all are.
