    I did not want to double post...

     

    Back to topic, in this port, par times are expressed as minutes, seconds, and centiseconds, I guess.

     

    And well, I have just realised the DMAPINFO lump is wrongly overriding the par times of E1M8, E2M8, and E3M8 (in this port, they are 02:45, 02:15, and 01:45, respectively).

    Random writes are the weak point of rubbish solid-state storage devices, such as the usual generic USB stick.

    One caution: if you do plan to use your USB flash drive to run applications or even operating systems, pay close attention to the random read and write speeds. Sequential throughput is a good overall baseline, but it's not the entire performance story. While typical portable storage usage does correlate well with sequential throughput, applications running on a USB flash drive are largely bounded by random access throughput.

    There's some news, through the rumor-mill. We can stop blaming IKEA, it wasn't them who put a halt to all this.

     

    It appears (not confirmed) that the guy works for the company that creates the microprocessors in the first place. It's likely that he was simply told by his boss "take it down" and he had no choice but to comply.

     

    Shame. But understandable.

    Yes, I, el miarma, can tell.

     

    I simply utilise the DOM inspector so as to inject basic format tags like these:
