I like the ending to Cheats . . . :P

So, I guess I should start working on my level again (it's been a year since I started it, and a couple of months since I last worked on it). Thus, can someone point me to base levels with either really good or really realistic level design? I want this level to not just be a "Doomish" base level, but one that you could actually see exsisting.

Probably the Reworks. They came out a little before Episode 1, and all three in this goldish case with Vader on the side. Yeah, 1997 sounds right.

Final fucking Fantasy VI movie, goddammit. Make it a trilogy. It's FUCKING PERFECTLY set up for it. Great characters, great plot, some great locations (ZoZo would be awesome). 1-Beginning to Terra's transformation 2-Terra's transformation to WoR 3-WoR to endgame OR 1-WoB-WoR 2-WoR to Endgame 3-After Endgame (we need to find out what happened to Shadow, after all). I don't think it leaves enough time, though. I'd like to have an actual live action movie, too. Actors would be a problem, as well making it work as a MOVIE. But I'm confident it could be done. But if we anted to go CG, Hell, models were in Anthology, let's go people! Wait, we're talking about FFVII:AC? Looks alright. They certainly had an oppurtunity to do something *really* cool, but seems like it will just be a typical anime cop-out, with typical anime characters and plot, instead some actually interesting shit. OF course, I have to see it anyway. And I don't see Cid . . . that's a problem. But let's face it, Final Fnatasy VI is what we really wanna see.

Georgie, Georgie, Georgie. Oh well. Remember how much he fucked up the Hoth Battle in the 1995/1996-ish re-releases? Took out ALL the good stuff, and all the good shots of the bounty hunters. I like the Star Wars universe (mainly the way everything has a backstory) and the first three movies, but the new ones are kinda meh. Not necesarily bad, just meh. And he totally backed himself into a corner with Episode 3. There's gonna be just enough to show Anakin going evil, but that'll be it. He already cut out all of the Clone Wars, and we're probably never gonna see Vader hunting down all the Jedi. Oh well. Maybe he'll break down and start licensing out the Star Wars name. Think how cool a Clone Wars movie could be if done like an actual war movie. The licensing possibliites are endless.

If you need a playtester, I'm game. (Wasn't clear from the post, so just wanted to let you know.) Looks cool! Good God, your genius on the area in that first shot is incredible. Wow. :)

What yu want to do is go to patches, then hit "Load entry from file", then put in: SKY? for Doom 1 (where ? equals the episode number) OR RSKY1 1-11 in Doom2 RSKY2 12-21 in Doom2 RSKY3 21-30 in Doom2 Doom 2 level ranges are approximate, cause I don't edit for Doom 2. And dude, I doubt Earthquake is listening.

Just a couple of things about these type's o' games. One, finally got around to beating Planescape: Torment (the very last part was too much of a pain in the ass and made me temporaily stop playing). Good game. Can anyone point me to a plot summary? Still trying to piece it together. Two, there's this somewhat old game called The Summoning. Best damn gamn of this type I've ever played. Problem is, won't run under XP. Can anyone help out? While we're here, anyone know of a surefire way to get Betrayal at Krondor to run under XP? Finally, what are some other good games in this vein?

Just do the first one. It's the only one that had any detail . . . or was any good for that matter. Besides, most of the textures for the firts one were already created and are in Doom or the Alphas. I always regarded Doomed Once More as pretty close to the Doom Bible . . . I wonder how it's coming along?

Well you all know my WAD situation is. :) *Just* finished Bas_Evil.wad, if anyone was wondering. (I took a little break from Doom 1 and played Doom 2 WADs for a little while, which is why I'm so far behind.)
