    Your least favourite enemy?

All fucking Pain Elementals must fucking die. (i don't think hanging would be very effective in their case)

PC Doom sound effects VS PSX Doom sound effects

PC all the way. Those sounds are Doom to me. The other ones remind me of Quake for some reason tbh
  3. I guess I need to finally check out Dishonored?

    2016 Goals

I'm a lot better than I used to be but I'm still kind of a fucking noob. I need to beat TNT and Plutonia and No Rest for the Living. I recently finally beat Perfect Hatred and the rest of Thy Flesh Consumed. At this point I can get through Perfect Hatred pretty reliably, but that first map of the episode... can go so wrong so easily for me still. After that, I started NRftL, but I think I got to map 6 and it was just kicking my ass and I got burned out and there was a steam sale and I just forgot all about it. played through almost half of TNT last year before losing interest / started it again a few days ago and it's going a lot better than last time anyway, after all that, I'd like to start checking out some fan made stuff. all the stuff I see on youtube is sca-ry and I think I probably couldn't even make it to the end of the first map of some of these. and a general doom related 2016 goal... save up to upgrade my PC for doom 4. I made it into the recent alpha and had to take the resolution down a notch or two but after that it went OK. Still long overdue though - built almost 5 years ago now and the only thing i've added was a "new" video card a couple of months ago (gtx 650... but it was free! and better than what I had. and it let me finally play wolf tno~)

    Favorite YouTube gamers?

Ooooo well, I'll just post anything sort of gaming related that i'm into BigMacDavis - has great walkthroughs of older shooters. doom/2/final/some wads here and there, wolfenstein 3d, half life + expansions, and a couple of other things I think, but those make up the bulk of his uploads thus far. unfortunately he hasn't been posting much the last year and a half or so but what he's done so far has already been great Lazy Game Review videogamedunkey + xLeahbee (i wish they did more mario maker vids, love those) gggmanlives - tons of FPS reviews, good shit, frequent uploads total biscuit's WTF videos have come in handy for me recently Hey Ash Whatcha Playin (hawpofficial) is my favorite shit + ashly has another channel with a couple of her friends called Baked Goods Show which is also pretty great Errant Signal Game Maker's Toolkit Noah Caldwell-Gervais I enjoyed a couple of Matthewmatosis video recently but I need to watch more this mother fucker's doom 2 uvmax run blew my fucking MINd

Are superhuman enemies in shooters fair?

The only problem I really have is, like, extreme bullet sponges where I can't even tell if I'm doing damage to or even hitting them or not *glares at wolfenstein tno*

You MUST play this Quake map pack.

The only part of Quake I'm good at is blowing myself up. BUT I've been wondering about this sort of thing lately, so I may just check it out when I find myself in the mood for Quake...

Steam Winter Sales 2015 Damage Report

Ahh, let's see... Age of Mythology Arma: Cold War Assault Bioshock 2: Minerva's Den Bioshock Infinite Season Pass Bulletstorm Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (I swore off the games after 4 years ago but the idea of fighting in an american city intrigued me... wasn't worth it, wouldn't mind getting my ten bucks ((ugh)) back either. coulda got dang driver san francisco or undertale) Dark Souls: Prepare to Die edition Dead Effect Duke Nukem Kill-A-Ton collection (1 / 2 / 3d / manhattan project / balls of steel)q King's Quest Chapter 1 Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Quake Collection (already had 1/2/4/mission pack 1) QUBE director's cut Strife: Veteran Edition (i was expecting it to be $5 like usually and planning on buying it anyway but it was $2.50 for once :D) Tiny and Big: Grandpa's Leftovers Unreal II: The Awakening Unreal Tournament 2004 Wolfenstein: The Old Blood Words for Evil Wrack XCOM complete (the new one. thought about getting the old x-com pack as it was only $3 but also it would probably make me cry) Ziggurat maybe $130 or so all said and done, but I haven't gone nuts with any sales since the last christmas one, so it's all right. also from other places right before the steam sale started I got the total war humble bundle (first tier) and the CoD WW2 pack. loved 1/2 back in the day and have been putting off getting them on steam for years and I just noticed the kill-a-ton collection is gone from steam? what a bummer. it was a damn steal for $3.74 ... aaand, of course, here I am still just playing (Final) Doom.
