      stupid irrelevant advice starts now:

If you're going for lots of subs, play some (preferably bad or early access) indie survival/horror/gag game like mincraft, FNaF, Rust, etc etc and overreact like you're 12 and you just don't know what to do with your life because you're in middle school.

Just look at pewdiepie. Be pewdiepie,

      /end stupid irrelevant advice.

In all seriousness, do what you like. Record doom speed demos like what Azuruish did, play whatever game you really like, upload something outrageous you see while playing something. Make a video where you give your opinion/discuss/analyze X, Y, or Z. Upload music and try not to get struck down by copyright. But most of all, do what you like and be creative.

Yeah, i don't care about becoming famous. I'll do speed demos. When i have the time

There's Camtasia. You can try that too. The files are a bit more smaller depending on the game you're playing and recording. I did a Reader Rabbit game and recorded for like 10-11 minutes and the mp4 file turned out to be like less than 15mb.

I just use OBS' local recording feature when I want to record something.
