    NICKS1ST.WAD

    Well, as someone's 1st wad from 95 it's not bad. Very plain and very few details, some aras without any reason, monsters are very easy, no armour included (or I didn't find any). And I love chaingunners traps, when suddenly come out a horde of cgguys and no cover. But it's common in that era, I think.

    Death 2

    Wow! This wad is incredible! I've neved seen so many gliches and bugs in one short map! I even managed to stuck in a lift. Instead of lifting me up, I stand on same level, but walls arise and closed me in HOM cage. I really recomend to play this piece of crap, it is amezing how it is possible to screw wad. I regret you can't no longer give 0 stars :(

    The Watering-Place

    Nice looking map, but confusing. A lots of meaningless backtracking to use switch just next to another. Monster placement is bad. First courtyard tightly packed only with imps, than maze thightly packed only with sgguys and goes on. Overall kinda fun, for classic wad fans.

    Very poor map. Bland, brown nothing intresting. Progression is even worse. You need to find few secret doors. Fights are bad too. A hordes of hitscaners. Even for its age: 1/5
    For a 95 level this map is good. Texuring is ok, i didn't notice any misaligments. Well used archvilles, but hitscaners not. Some fights in mazes are dull. Overall 4/5

    Very big, a lots of exploring. For 95 very good design. In monster placement a bit overuse of changunners. Overall I recommend to play
    Map is for Doom 1, and is looking good (for 1995). But this map is extremely crampy. Corridors and rooms are small and narrow, enemies are packed tightly. It could be challanging, but there's so crampy that they aren't effective at all. Fighting 2 barons in arena sized like matchbox isn't pleasant experience... Overall: graphic 4/5, gameplay 1.5/5

    For 95 map set it is really cool. But it lacks final boss.

    Very rectangular design, some misaligned textures. In another hand, monster placement is clever, except final cybie in small courtyard. Overall medicore, gived some fun.

    This map visually is not bad for 95. Short and crampy AF. Ammo is hardly enough, better don't waste it. Best thing is how author trolls the player, cheap trick but I like it. 3+/5*

    Main action takes place in monotextured maze filled with monster closets. The "hub area" isn't bad. Also map is too easy even on UV. Nothing special.

    Map is looking good (for 95). Ammo is low, but enough if you won't waste it. BUT if you want to finish this piece of crap you have to find unmarked secret door, then find secret switch and find unmarked walkthroughable wall in extremely dark dungeon. Good luck. 1,5/5*

    Moon Chainshaw Massacre

    I was dissapointed that from begining i could use sg or chaingun, not only chainsaw. E3M1-M3 are really cool for its age. But from M4 it changes into odd texured (not alligned at all) hellish maze. For first three maps 4.5* , but overall only 2.5*

    Design is kind of ok for 95, but autor skimped ammo, especially shells. Ending is impossible to make without cheats. 2 long corridors with damaging floor (20%!). 3/10

    Escape from the Cape!

    Pretty ok. Sometimes confusing. For its age 7/10
    A bit better than smelly for Doom 1, much harder than that, becouse of using Doom2 enemies. But still odd mix of all themes. For its time: 7+/10

    Map is long circa 300monsters on UV, mostly brownish textures. Some walkthrouable cages. Mostly rectangular boring rooms. Autor loves stairs on switch. 4+/10

    The Fortified Castle

    Nice, quite big (200 monsters in UV, takes me 20minutes) castle map. Use of Heretic textures in Doom wad is questionable, but map is not looking bad. Flat textures of teleporter aren't alligned. Architecture is really good. Fighting is intense mostly in cramped pleces. I stucked for a while becouse keys are in secret areas. For its time: 8/10

    Kind of ok, but mix of all themes. Gameplay is good, some pretty exciting fights. 7/10

    The Kult v1.1

    4.5/5 becouse of some texture alligment issues. Overall small, good for early '95.
    Note is for Singleplayer (txt says 'yes'). For SP those maps are shit. Map01 has no exit. Both maps extremely overuse fake walls. Exit in second map is so much hidden, that it's almost impossible to find way to exit, even 'iddt' didn't help.
    Only 3stars, because of shotgunners shooting throu stone wall, and keys in secrets area. Good design, some really good fights and traps.

    Hell at Home

    4 identical houses, a freaking lots of shotgunners, unintresing design. The biggest problem is exit, accesable by pressing unmarked switch lowers an unmarked teleport in the very begining of level, allowing to win in 3seconds. That means after you kill 200 monsters ending up with extreme confuse. Unless you are check map editor... 1/5.
    VERY annoying sounds. Map itself is ugly too.
