  1. You're still a security guard. After your last position went up in flames, you're relocated to a different, remote UAC facility. You begin your commute to work one day, only to run into another demonic invasion. >>>>>>DOWNLOAD RL2 ON IDGAMES<<<<<< (Final Update 2/20/20) WHAT IS THIS? Running Late 2 contains 16-ish BOOM compatible maps ranging from small, medium, to large. SOURCE PORTS AND SOURCE PORT DIFFERENCES Recommended source ports are Pr/GlBoom +, as well as GZ/ZDoom. There are two secret levels in this wad. Players using ZDoom based ports will need to warp to these levels, since Map14 will take them to the endgame screen. Players using BOOM ports can simply exit through Map15, which takes you directly to these levels. A Dehacked patch has been included for the inclusion of 2 new enemies. As such, it is not highly recommended you play Running Late 2 with other heavy gameplay changing mods. DIFFICULTY Running Late 2's levels were designed for pistol starts, though some effort has been made for continuous play. Keep in mind that this will probably make your experience much easier. Difficulty modes are available. Some maps can get slaughtery. COOP? Levels have multiplayer starts and extra monsters added for coop play, though I haven't extensively tested coop. Most arena-esqe areas should (hopefully) not softlock players in coop. BUGS None that I'm aware of. If you encounter any issues though, do let me know! >>>>SCREENSHOTS<<<< >>MAP LISTING<< >>MUSIC LISTING<< CREDITS Big thanks to Scotty and Tango for play testing this and providing some much needed feedback and criticism. Jimmy for the project's intro midi. My good acquaintance FierceTheBandit for providing the wad's snazzy title graphic(s). A full list of resource credits can be found in the text file, RL2.text.
  2. You decide to take a vacation to your favorite resort. Unfortunately, Hell had the same idea. What is this? Donuts is a collection of levels that I've made for various community projects over the years, with a few new levels thrown in specifically for this project. Every level has been given a fresh coating of OTEX. Levels pulled from previous projects have been heavily modified in one way or another. Noted in the Map List are the projects associated with each map. New maps are simply labeled (New). Compatibility All maps have been tested in PrBoom+ / GZDoom / ZDoom. Two new enemies are included via dehacked patch, so any heavy gameplay altering mods are not recommended. If you're playing through any ZDoom based port, then you'll have access to an episode screen, FIRST BLOOD (Map01 - Map06) FINAL RESORT (Map07 - Map12) A quick rundown of the new enemies Screenshots <<<OLD VERSION>>> <<<DOWNLOAD V2 HERE>>> <<<IDGAMES LINK>>> Map List Track List Shout outs to cool dudes @Scotty, @Tango, and @Terminus for playtesting and providing feedback. A full list of credits can be found in the provided text file. Thanks, and have fun.

Donuts - 11 Boom Maps (Now on idgames)

Now available on idgames. Includes an additional level in the Map31 slot, a harder version of "The Close Encounter" before it was toned down for the Map06 slot. Pretty much identical to how it was in "Isolation".

Donuts - 11 Boom Maps (Now on idgames)

Version 2 is now available. -Added DECORATE lump for new enemies -Cleaned up some textures to lower the file size The old version will be left up for the time being, in case I broke something in V2. Next update will probably be the Idgames release.
  5. Does PrBoom not display obituaries?

Donuts - 11 Boom Maps (Now on idgames)

You're referring to Map07. That whole courtyard with bridges concept was something I really liked, so I ended up expanding on it with Map05 of Running Late 2.

    2 Scrapped Egg Boy Maps

I appreciate the Scythe X vibes these gave off. Very fun!
  8. Very nice! I appreciate your kind words, Jabba. Funny enough, out of all the maps I made for RL2, “Overtime” ended up being my favorite.
  9. 1) I'm assuming you mean the door to the left side of the courtyard. That's locked from the other side. You have to go through the door on the right side of the courtyard to progress towards the yellow key. 2) That's a death exit. Wait a few seconds and the level will end.

    2021 Goals & Intentions

I have something small in the works, aiming for a release either at the end of this year or early next year. After that, I do have asperations to make a proper full megawad. Taking into account irl stuff and general laziness, that's a goal and intention that will definitely extend past 2021.

    The 2020 Cacowards

Grats to all the winners and runner-ups! This was honestly a huge surprise for me. Thanks to everyone who have played my stuff and provided feedback over the past four years that I've been mapping, be it my early "single map" threads, community project contributions, or serious projects like RL1 and 2. Means a lot :)

Do you play maps with or without ingame music?

99% of the time with music.
  17. Back to Thunder Road - Nice bite sized levels that are fun to blast through. The music choices in particular really made this set stand out for me.
  18. Good luck to everyone participating this month ;)

MAYhem: 2020 Edition - On Idgames!

Update - Just added a some detailing I missed.

MAYhem: 2020 Edition - On Idgames!

Here's my submission, Enter The Fist, made in 3 - 4 hours, give or take. Music is the main theme from Lotus 3. Tested mainly in ZDoom / PrBoom +. I've never made a map with this kind of limitation, so it's really, really small.
  21. My first exposure to the old Doom games was through the original Xbox versions, which came with the special edition of Doom 3. Think I was in my early teens at the time.
