  1. Probably been asked a fair few times before, but I was wondering if, well, anyone's done that and made them publicly available.

    Sure thing! https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/levels/doom2/megawads/d2isov2

    New Doom Player Here

That too, but it's a fun time all around.

    New Doom Player Here

Doom 2 In Spain Only. It's a play on another community made megaWAD titled Doom 2 In Name Only, where it's a similar principle but with a Spanish spin on things.
  6. Ohio. ...Our pizza sucks. Oh, and funny not at all beaten into the ground meme too, I guess.

Game that everybody likes but you dislike

Yakuza Kiwami, having come off of 0 prior it just feels extremely cheap. And I know, RGG Studios is known for reusing old assets, but even this is a bit ridiculous.

    Cut Doom levels?

There probably exists a thread begging a similar question already but I had zero luck finding any, mostly stuff pertaining to Doom 64's titled "Lost Levels" or something related to the PSX release of the game. Any known scrapped levels for Classic Doom as a whole? Whether it's Doom 1, 2, or Plutonia/TNT. Would love to see what comes up here!

    What Was Your Last Purchase?

Update; art's finished, they knocked it out of the park as always. Go give them a follow if you like Sonic/Nintendo/anime stuff!
  10. Was more thinking prboom+, but thankfully the reply above has a link. Thanks though!

Sandy Petersen, a retrospective of his Doom maps

Big fan of Suburbs, not much so one of Barrels. Especially not a fan of six whole pain elementals in one long, wide corridor full of aforementioned barrels. Dick move.

    What Was Your Last Purchase?

Art commission, though I *just* paid for it so nothing to show for it yet. Am pretty hyped though, its a cbotakuarts piece!

Doom 1 or Doom 2 music?

I personally can't pick a winner, only a loser. And that loser's Plutonia for not having any new tracks to begin with.

    Silent protagonist: yes or no?

There's a right answer to this, and its called the soft-spoken yet intimidating protagonist. Caleb from Blood would like to have a word.

What did those ghosts give you?
  16. This is a weird one on my part but I kinda like the noclipping projectiles. Probably cause it keeps me on edge and shit, but its very much not a positive in the grand scheme of things. No weapon in the game (save for the chainsaw) is weak, each one excels at a certain song and dance. Shotgun's a good standard workhorse for weaker, single targets, while the chaingun takes great strides against hordes of them (zombiemen, shotgunners, etc). In short, never treat any one weapon as the definitive all-around choice.
  17. Barrels o' Fun. That's it. That's my only critique.

Do you know any terrible Doom source ports ?

Oh yeah, there's this real stinker I know of. Terrible source port. Ever heard of "gzdoom"?

Things about Doom you just found out

I'm sure it would've been a fine game, but definitely a smack in the balls to the community. I can't really say for sure though.
  20. I appreciate your critiques but I still believe that the PS3 was the better console of the two.

    Most recent movie you saw

Saw the new Puss in Boots film earlier with some family, probably one of my favorite animated films to date. To say that Dreamworks knocked it out of the park would be a severe understatement to say the least.

Things about Doom you just found out

One more for the road; a year or two ago I realized I share a birthday with the original Doom (12/10). Probably no wonder I hold such a sentiment toward the series.

Which doom game do you have the most nostalgia with?

Two years is a wide enough gap. Hell, I have nostalgia of my own toward Eternal. Not as much so as 2016 or the original Doom games, but it's still very much there.
