    Everyone (including chat) hated my map. Ah, I'd be lying if I said it wasn't expected. EDIT: I am currently working on a map that features 3D floors and a little bit of actual level design. I hope you enjoy it when it gets done :)

    Sorry for not being the new SgtMarkIV and creating a megawad with beautiful textures and level design like Hell On Earth Starter Pack. It's my first map, and I literally told you in my post that it is a simple gimmick and is not a legitimate "doom-style" map. Your comment is pointless, and also rude. Congratulations.

    Thanks for all your replies. I will be attempting to make more actual "authentic" seeming doom-style maps in the future - as I said, this one was mostly just a test. I do also agree that the secret is a bit too easy to find, but that was on purpose. And thanks to BloodyAcid for saying that he looks forward to seeing my new levels :)

    "Burgerobot's Rooms of DOOM" It's a really simple map, but I'd still like to know your thoughts on it! It's not a normal doom-style level, it's more of a gimmick based on this one idea I had.     GZDB and Mods... [SOLVED]

    Is it possible to make GZdoom builder launch with a mod when I press "test map"? I think it would be really nice if I could automatically run with mods when I test because Ketchup is great, and I really like using it when I play doom. Sure, I can just save my wad and then launch it with Ketchup from my GZdoom folder, but it's a pain in the ass... Can anyone help? EDIT: I figured it out! All I had to do was add a .pk3 resource in the testing options.

    Yeah, every time I start GZdoom builder and it says a new version is available I always click update. :)

    That's exactly what I'll do. Considering I didn't even know why I should (or should not) have used the Doom format, I think I'll just hop right to the one with the most features!

    Thanks, I'll probably use UDMF from now on... I've been doing GZdoom in doom format for some stupid reason, because... Well... I don't really know why to be honest. (also, a quick secret, I only bought doom 2/discovered doom mapping/started mapping very recently because Vinesauce Joel did a doom builder 2 stream... he used Zandronum, which means the whole source port thing is all good since he hinted at a possible map contest in the future)
