The OpengGL Doom Legacy site has updated about speed improvents due to recent code optimisations and support for Matrox 3D cards. Matrox is now their official sponsor and glLegacy is sure going to work like a charm on their cards :) They've also opened two new sections, among which a WAD one where people can submit their own skins, models or, well, levels.

A new site called the Co-op Certification Laboratory has seen the light of day. It aims to test various add-ons in Co-operative mode, to see if there are any problems with the level design (such as one-way elevators). Go give them a looksie.

John Frank has donated a MD2 model of the SS'er to Michaël Ryssen's DoomGL source port. Most (if not all, I haven't been counting) sprites can now (optionally) be replaced by MD2 files. This leaves glHeretic and glHexen... anyone care to create MD2 files for those two..?

Yes, by now everybody should have emerged from their millenium shelters, feeling very silly and wondering about getting themselves some breakfast or, possibly, the morning paper. Happy New Year, everybody! It'll take me a while to wade through all my emails and events that happened during my leave, but I should have updated all the stuff that needs to be updated here at Doomworld sometime tomorrow.
