  1. The solenoid unit on my car is fruited out. I found out today after running a diagnostic - kinda funny that it went bad a day and a half after I got my oil changed at the dealership I bought my car at. Hopefully this'll be covered by my powertrain warranty, or I'll be boned since it'll probably cost a good bit to replace. So good times on that. Oh, and I'm dating a girl who lives 35 minutes away. Great person - I'm sure we'll make it past the usual euphoric "omg we're going out lolz" stage. But that's a matter of timing. Which reminds me...hey Bloodskull, got any advice on how to make this a long-lasting, meaningful relationship?

Starter solenoid? Should be considered part of the engine, and thus would likely be covered under a powertrain warranty. If not, I really doubt it will be incredibly expensive to replace.

That'd be it. I figured that would be the case. Better go make an appt. with the dealer service center then...after I review the warranty/contract. : P

EDIT: Crap, this might cost $200-400...and if the warranty covers it, it's still a $100 deductable. : /

No garage, anywhere, EVER will charge you honestley for parts/labour. If you have a common car, find a scrap one and nick the part off it (as long as that is good, obviously), then replace it yourself, or get someone who is mechanically minded
