I'm seeing wonderful things on this thread but not many wonderful things in /newstuff or I'm looking at the wrong ones. I'm not talking about community projects. Actually all of the /newstuff is good too, I'm just not seeing anything like these maps and I'd love to play these experimentals.

When I worked at the post office I made $3000 a month but there's no way I'd have the time to keep up with something like this lol They probably pay certain mods too

All these games are still the same game I never made

I have been looking all day and can't for the life of me find a certain Christmas doom e1m1 level from 1994 that I somehow obtained not by all my doom cd-roms. It had reindeer instead of pinkys in a movie theatre and the spiderdemon at the end was a giant skull in a santa hat. I loved that level to death BUT my girlfriend thinks I made it all up or am crazy because she can't find it for me either. Anyone remember?

I might be biased since I made it, but the reviews were all awful! Check out this mad science: Nightmares of Loki 1999 it's in the id archives they won't let me have them delete it! lol

Make textures of colors (well not purple) similar to the texture-less render! make it bright and non-doomish as at least a hidden map to the regular map. there's too much regular doom appeal to all these maps that have come out in the past 20 years

I'm afraid to join lol I haven't mapped in years and it would take a while to get warmed up plus I never released any of the better ones

I was trying to think of a place that reviewed websites, gave me criticism, etc. Instead, I figured this would be a good idea since it's doom related. The "Classic DOOM Megasite" button leads to my best subpage, the DOOM page. It's nowhere near finished but the rest of the page has plenty of working buttons. The doom site is set up so that the 90s nostalgia portion will have folders allowing you to click and play as long as your source port is set as the default program for WAD and PK3 extensions. What I'll be working on next is the vast megawads section, from several source lists, in the same fashion. I will also link every /newstuff I can find to a single grid page for ease of access.
