    How to Deal with Mapping Sadness

    The only competition is with oneself. The one of being able to improve with each new map, until finding a own style ... at the same time helping those that are the same, my problem is free time that I have to play or make things ... and I know that to make a map for a player takes hours between creation and testing (I made a pack that went unnoticed) so I ended up making levels for deathmatch and replay them countless times

    Your favourite TYPE of level?

    I like urban maps or Spaceships, Difficult, i play in Hurt me Plenty... If the map is good I play it with more difficulty...Chaingunners, do not put them there in the distance and leave me with a gun.... Size? Has to last between 15 and 30 mins without seeking secrets or all enemies, and gameplay a lot over the details. I dont want CoD maps for doom but do not leave all textures unaligned

    It is obvious that the original maps are not going to look good, have several problems of alignment of textures or do not have much detail because of technical limitations.     Knowing the whole route annoys me a little, is the reason I add many monsters, and to interconnect all the ways to make it replayable for me. That's why I think I do maps for deathmatch

    @hidfan thanks for your pack I started to to make a texture replacer for Doom/Doom2 using as base the DHTP... this its not a HD texture pack i respect the original textures to remake new patches

    Hello, I brought a zdoom forum post, this is my last project for Doom 2 I made them in zdoom format The story: Is about some warriors who gave life during the first invasion of Phobos. Gameplay: Individual Medium maps (You choose them as episodes), simple puzzles, loaded with a lot of monsters. You have to move fast all the time and you need to jump and crouch for cover and move like an arena shooter. I recommend playing them with D4T or Project Brutality.
