    "Lifelike" textures?

    I'd like to make some maps that look more like real life, and I don't feel like Doom's default textures can really accomplish that. Are there any places I can get some "realistic" textures/things?
  3. Title explains it pretty well, I want to make a pool of liquid using a non-solid 3D floor (I don't want it swimmable) and have a slight color offset when inside the pool. How do I go about this?

    [Linux] Prboom-Plus - No Guitar?

    I'm running Prboom-Plus on Kubuntu, an trying to get music and sound to work. Right nwo I have the sound player set to SDL2, which makes the music and sound pretty decent (every other one makes the music sound weird) but there's no guitar, only drums. Why is this and how do I fix it?

    Is it possible to convert a, even if very simple, doom map into a map that could be ran in CS:GO, Half-Life 2, etc? I'm not fond of Hammer too much.

    If I understand correctly, this would block the Line_Horizon with a wall. My issue is, there's a sector behind the Line_Horizon that I want to be revealed.

    I want to make a line turn from Line_Horizon to a line with no special action in UDMF. How would I do that? ~~EDIT~~ Fixed.
  10. I'm trying to make a script that activates a portal somewhere. When I try to compile, it says "Function line_setportal is used but not defined." Here's my script: #include "zcommon.acs" script 1 OPEN { Line_SetPortal(6, 5, 2, 1); } What am I doing wrong here?

    GZDoom Builder won't remove resources

  12. I'm attempting to create a new map in GZDoom Builder, and have a resource added I'd like to remove. The original resource file was deleted, so when I try to create the map it says: "Cannot create map: At least one resource doesn't exist!" but the resource is greyed out and it will not allow me to remove it. How do I fix this? I'm unable to create anything!

    Ah, ok. I figured it out! So, from what I see one needs about 80 units of space after the line for the player to go through properly.
