life is good, rediagnosed having a bipolar 2 instead of schizo.
been too busy trying my best to get myself a life.
still mapping though i'm only spent like an hour a week on a map.
I posted about it regularly on the doom repository facebook group.
may post a thread about it once i'm actually done with it - learned about it the hard way (psychologically).
yeah that is all i guess.

making a perfect teleporting monsters is so frustrating. I tried all sorts of method including drag the monsters towards the teleport flag using floor texture scroll flag thing.
man, this is so frustrating.

It would be easier if you would use joined sector method. Draw monster closet with small triangle, which will be joined with teleporter. Like in this picture. Draw two lines, that will teleport monsters in your map. One line must face monsters, second line bigger triangle or corner(like you're making door in map). Give same tag to "ear", teleporter lines and main teleport sector in main map. Don't forget add teleport fog actor. Join teleporter in map and "ear" with "j" key. Use teleporter action only for monsters. Also, for small delay, I added gates, which will be lowered when player trigger specific line (idk, how efficient this gate method is, but it works for me). If I'm wrong, someone help me to fix this.

Ahhh I was mistaken, do you made it so monsters couldn't even get through an open door. Still, an easy mistake to make since I can see what you were aiming for. you aren't stupid though. its mistakes like these that make us a better mapper.

I actually think monsters shouldn't open doors. I never check "when monster presses use" because it's just extra things to check and it keeps the player in control of the map in a way.

@Nevander It depends on the monster imo. For example, you wouldn't see a mancubus or a pinky open a door. But a revenant, arch vile, or hell knight variety could easily as could an imp.

Basically Baron(s) that post(s) not threat to the players is/are too many Baron(s), even one. Basically, according to modern standard, 2 Barons from E1M8 are too many Barons, but it's old, so it's different.

Why don't you post in those picture threads? Like you could put multiply pictures in one place and reduce your status updates in one per week or create thread where you show your progress in wad. I believe some people got tired of your updates and read same stuff over and over again. You could post status update where you almost finished your mapset, it would give more meaning than it has now.

I did some 'floor monster trap' thing on etomana map02. So it doesn't look that good on gzdoom (how can I missed this obvious shit damn it). And I'm suck at teleporting monsters
Gotta find a way around..
