  2. Is it possible ? And how can it be done ? I'm working on a mod which where you shouldn't use cheats , but removing them entirely would be unfair for those people who want to just play with the weaponry. sv_cheats is deactivated in mapinfo and I know you can change that from the console , but coud I have an option from the menu to be less annoying to access ?

    So I have this OptionValue EnableCheats { 0.0, " NO " 1.0, " YES" } OptionMenu "zamnoptions" { title "Zombies Ate My Neighbors Options" StaticText " " . . . StaticText " " option "Enable Cheats","sv_cheats","EnableCheats" } But it does nothing it seems and I can't change between option 0 or 1 , it is stuck in default :/

    Ok , now rewatching some videos with more patience I noticed that there is in fact some work put in the sprites so it's fair enough to call it an edit. So sorry for being rude about the project. But anyway, about your argument ... HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA ! xD "Doom Community == Half-Life Community" Yeah, sure. In case you didn't noticed Brutal Doom is the prefered choice for all the kids who had no idea what Doom is , so their closest experience is BD. And when they try to make a mod for Doom , they tend to take whatever Brutal Doom version , change some sprites or sounds and "Hey guys! I'm Xx_AssasinDoomer420_xX and this is my mod and is the best mod ever B) !1!!!1!1!1!1! [no screenshots of course][barely changed brutal doom version]" So it becames pretty fucking annoying seeing this so frequently , and I thougt this was just another BD worthless copy. Anyway , good luck with the project c:

    What do you mean with a new designer ? Why he didn't posted here instead of you ? Why his machinegun is broken ? Why he is borrowing sprites from H-Doom and Brutal Doom ? Why people always try to just grab stuff from Brutal Doom ? Come on ! Why always the people who don't know shit about doom modding , tries to borrow stuff from Brutal Doom ? There's so many questions ...

    Don't double post please . I tried to search any information about the original release of Doom.64 Ex and I didn't find an exact date , but in the Source forge page of the project , the oldest activity started the 19th of May of 2008 .

    Well if you mean code-wise it's kinda messy , pretty much just ACS and Decorate trickery. If you mean mod-wise , I'm studying how different monsters react to each weapon , how much damage they receive , what are their weknesses and behaviour and stuff. And I implemented some mechanics like the Game Over Screen , a Lives System , Some invisibility frames after a hit , different weapon firing animations in 1st person and 3rd person so , it could be interesting c: I'm kinda having some compatibility problems tho with newer GZDoom versions in some scripts , but works fine in 1.9.1

    Hopefully a Beta Demo with the first 4 levels of the game would be coming soon , but I need to make more weapons , and monsters , and items... To start with the levels

  19. First of all is this possible? And second , how this can be done ? I have a screen effect that make some cartoony blood falling from the top of the screen and it works perfectly but just for 640x480 because the graphics are 640 pixels width and I have variations for 720 ,800, 1024 , 1280, 1400, and 1600 or something , but how can I detect in which width resolution the player is playing ?

    I remembered that I did some edits of an alien marine the past year, from Alien Breed 3D: I tried to make it less cartoony by making the borders more blending . (Left Original | Right Edited)

    I don't know if it could work that way , I remember seeing volumetric textures , but I don't know how this could work. Also yes you should read the VOXELDEF , and Decorate , and textures/flat patches , to pull out what you are trying to do here.
